If only it was the children casing problems.  I long for the days when I had to ban Stefan and Mr-Incredible but they've become functioning members of society.

But this 80-20 sh*t concerns me, though.

Yeah but that wasn't a quote from Marco himself. Marco is born in NZ. If my Dad was born in Chile but moved here when he was 7, I wouldn't consider myself Chilean.

What's this 80-20 stuff?  Is that how Kiwi to Chilean he considers himself (could be entirely wrong but coming in halfway through have no idea what else it would be)?

"Rojas was equally non-committal about whether he would play for the All Whites if given the chance, or hold out in the hope of playing for his father's native Chile.

"At the moment nothing has come up, and I guess I can't make that decision until something comes up," he said.

"[New Zealand] is the country where I was born and raised up. Of course I affiliate with New Zealand."

This is the reason that he needs to be picked and have a 5 min spell off the bench at least, then he is locked in

I agree, and in Marcos case it is more than likey the same. However, if (as there are in some countries) a large enclave of people from one country they tend to stick together and thats the problem. They don't intergrate with the locals.

You are the one that made the comment about integrating. Mine was made purely on that.
I was not making any point about Marco.
And as for you making comments about me being sober.
Don't judge others on yourself.

If I'd posted that and re-read it I'd be hugely embarassed.  I was giving you the benefit of the doubt.

Oh, and I'm on the wagon but thanks for asking.

He better be integrated.  Becoz I've got huge dreams for him at present.  Watching this Asian Cup makes me believe that the Marco Rojas of 2013 would tear any 5th placed Asian a new arsehole.

I do have a mind of my own Leggy.

Seems like you've integrated into Australia and I assume you weren't even born there.

Sorry I didn't tell you I'd tagged 2ndBest in Leggy but I'm in the middle of a good read..  I'll make sure I inform you next time.

Incidentally, I had read the whole thread and I still don't see any context where the national footballing loyalties of someone you know nothing about could be compared to the national loyalties of the London bombers, but apparently it makes sense in your world.

I would say that they were fully assimilated into London .

(Leggy - pretty gobsmacked by your analogy, I like your footy comments but this was rather crass.  I find that many people confuse assimilation with integration)

After being threatened with the ban stick because I had the good sense to agree with the Oceania player of the century In picking a professional goalkeeper over an amatuer youth player I feel somewhat agreaved after reading that post.
