8K sold at this stage is actually not too bad. Wondering when NZF is going to start pushing them though

Not bad, if thats for wellington id be disapointed with 15k (like some people are predicting)

actually id be disapointed with 15k regardless. anything under 25k should be seen as a failure

Good sign when parents of kids at kindy and school - who would maybe go to one Phoenix match per season - are planning to go.

Yes, Ronniemac - please identify your PAX!

Assuming that it's Wellington PAX that means they've sold around 2,000 tickets in the last 5 days, or 400 per day (last PAX report for Wgtn was 6,366 on 15 Sept).

At that rate they'll sell around another 8,000 by 12 October, bringing the total crowd to approx. 16,000. Fair to assume, however, that the rate will pick up closer to the time.

I'm picking a crowd in Wellington of just over 20,000.

So how do you tell the PAX when buying onine? I'm looking at the transaction number plus a number on the end that says 7380 for the Honduras game.
Either way, the only choice for more than a few tickets is Block 1 & 2 (extreme east end) or Block 21, uncovered extreme west.
I think its only printed on the ticket, not the transaction receipt.

10 days out of date, but PAX for Honduras game as of 13th Sept, 5970.
Anything more recent would satisfy my curiosity.edward l2010-09-23 17:12:41

I feel dirty for linking to a Sunday News story but: http://www.stuff.co.nz/sunday-news/sport/4168165/Auckland-just-the-ticket-for-All-Whites

North Harbour slightly ahead...

"Sales are going pretty well, with Auckland actually doing better than Wellington, which is interesting," Glading said.

"Across the two venues we're sitting at just over 20,000.

"The split is pretty even Auckland has just got its nose in front."

Hardly bears repeating, but Auckland being ahead of Wellington for a Sat game vs. Tuesday night is kinda a no-brainer - Auckland would rescind all rights to future games if they can't sell this one out

I want to know what the money from the gate receipts of these games is going toward.

As a football player in this country that pays member fees I think i have a right to know.

Allegedly

PARAGUAY PAX at 4pm today = ...

Holy heck, this means they've only sold 1,554 Paraguay tickets in the last seven days, at a rate of around 220 per day.

With 15 days to go until the game that means Wellington is heading for a total of just over 13,000.

The rate should pick up again but 20,000 looks tough from here.

We need an emergency PAX boost immediately!

Knowing NZF, the ticket sales revenue for these two games has already technically been spent on something.

Such a shame no AW game in CHCH. Obvious we would have got more than 10k. Oh well, enjoy your last game for a while AK.

Well it could be the last All White games at home against quality opposition for a few years. Period.
