Granville pointed out to me last night that England/USA is on at 2am HK time.  We arrive at 9pm the night before.  Straight to a bar I say.

Bevan - while in the bar in Honkers, and on the plane, make sure you warm up all the ladies on the tour.  Let them know that our room will be the party room and they should come over (we will get rid of the hookers if any of them actually come).
 
Paint us as two un-married (I will hide my wedding ring) hip young cats ready to board the party train to oblivion, but ensure that they know that the party train is only a metaphor and not an actual train (unless we can get our hands on one).

having arrived late, somehow most of us managed to stay up till 230am local time to watch Eng/USA in the hotel bar.  Well worth.  After the howler, Smith and I got a USA chant going.  Don't think it went down too well with the Eng supporting folk.
 
Most of us went shopping shopping today.  Or at least fended of a couple of hundred people trying to sell tailored suits or hand watches. 
 
Just about to check out now and grab our flight at 11:45pm.  Hopefully our flight isn't delyaed or some of us may miss our first game: Denmark v Holland.

Late 20s here and raining.  Still sweating like...(fill in the blank). 
 
Another lol moment.  Have the tour haven't had cell phone coverage for most of the day.  guess what provider they are with.

more transport issues for tour. Dozen of us took 4 hrs to get back from dutch game. Seems like no staff knew how people were meant to get anywhere.

White Noise on tour guys I have to say today is the first time I've been seriously envious of where you are. Sth Africa is jst not a place I ever want to go for any reason but tonight I wd actually love to swap places with you. The atmosphere is going to be something else and I all hope you have a wicked time and remember we expect you to be our proxies and all have major laryngitis tomorrow

lol I expect half of NZ is off work tomorrow either officially or pulling a sickie
