Couldn't have asked for much more.

Once we didn't get SA, to get the defending champs is an absolute buzz. They won't take us lightly after we gave them a scare this year.

Slovakia you'd have to say aren't one of the more fancied European teams, and same with Paraguay from South America.

We got very lucky with that group.  I'm happy with that.

Won't be happy unless we get 9 points

Charlize Theron is so hot!

I'm pretty happy wiith that... at least we avoided groups d and g. Paraguay and Slovakia i could see us getting a draw from if we play well, and Italy tend to start tournements slowly. Just glad I'm not an Aussie or a Korean.

Nw to convince tthe wife we need to go.

Home game first up in white, Italy we'll prob be in white but will be in black for Paraguay I'm guessing

Its no longer a problem.

Bloody stoked to get this group. I can't see any group I'd rather be in perhaps Spains.

ITALY, PARAGUAY, SLOVAKIA

Bring it on

I will take that, I will definitely take that. Italy who will no doubt go for the 1 nil win (outside of SA I think they were the best team for us to draw), Paraguay- better than most of the other teams we could have drawn from that pot, and Slovakia- same deal. Very very happy on the champers right now.

Ozzy, poor poor Ozzy. That is well tough.

Dont underestimate Paraguay guys. Such a bad style of football for us, and we are going to be the underdogs in any game.
Still not too bad, Italy dont look that hot atm and slovakia was probably the worst pot 2 team

Edited to add in Uruguay!

At risk of quoting myself  it as good a group as we could have got I think......and in hindsight 90000 V things would not be good.  Bring it on.......

Nah, I reckon England's group, replacing USA. That also would have been desirable. We'd 'only' have to get results against Algeria and Slovenia

If we had gone in Spain's group, we'd have to get results against both the Swiss and Chileans.

Just think, we could've ended up with Brazil, Nigeria and Portugal. This is a great chance for us, I hope we can show the world we deserve to be there. NZF will hopefully announce friendlies shortly.

Well, it could have been worse...

If we didn't get South Africa, Italy was definitely a good alternative for us imo.

Super stoked about Slovakia, esp. for the opening game!

Was hoping for Algeria out of Pot 3, Paraguay is gonna be a tough one no doubt about it.

But yeah, could have been A LOT worse.
