Great effort, pity we let 3 in in the 2nd half, but with the subs Italy made it was probably to be expected.

Am well happy with that. They would have just kept coming at us if we were still in the lead. IF Nelsen was playing, they would nt have got all four of those goals past us, some of them were pretty weak! I could see them happening two touches before italy even scored.

If we build it, they will come...

yeah pretty excited about it though. all went well and we really proved ourselves on the world stage. Another smeltz and killen combo in these next games and we could see them snatching up bigger contracts.

All our Overseas based players had a decent showing

Not unexpected that loss.you could see the effect of altittude on their pace last quarter.. but all round fantastic effort. No embarrassment here New Zealand, Well Done!

I just hope that wasn't our best game of the tour! Spain will be prepared for us now, rather than thinking we are going to be complete walkovers, so we will have to deal with that in a different way.
