Went to Ticketek website, says no tickets available.

Tried multiple different codes, still no luck.

Someone on the forum said to try Internet Explorer instead of Chrome, I'm on a Mac.

10 minutes later, I've installed Firefox and thank god it works in that.

[So, not only do they not support Chrome, but instead of telling you to just use a different browser, they tell you there's no seats left. Most ridiculous error ever.]

Choose White Noise Zone... and then apparently you can't pick specific seats... so I've no idea if I'd be right up the front or right up the back.

Unbelievable.

Booked on Chrome (up to date 28.0.1500.95) on OSX 10.8.4, no problems at 9am this morning.

But must've been frustrating if it wasn't working.

NN is the front, T is the back. Middle is row AA & row A

9000 tickets sold in 2 hours is a pretty decent effort I must say.

Thanks, did manage to figure that out. Ideally I wanted in the middle (ie top of uncovered or bottom of covered), but got P. Then again, going on last time, no-one in the zone is going to have a clue where they're meant to be. Hoping for pandemonium again.

So what's the story with white noise ? I see a lot of people on Facebook saying they've got noise tickets for their kids but thought I read on here that it was 16yrs+ or something?

Booking of 52 made for Coastal Spirit coming up from Christchurch. Went next to White Noise in rows 24/25, 5 rows from the front.

Yeehah!

Unfortunate for those kids then if everyone's standing. Could make for some pissed off parents

It does say that the white noise zone is all standing though...

Poor wee snookums :(

Horrible to hear at the time of your post you had waited 13 minutes. I would have expected at least 1000 call centre operators working to ensure wieners like you get their tickets within 15 minutes to avoid a meltdown.

Breath deep, we will get through this :(

Just bought 3 tickets for the zone, as was told that I could no longer buy 4 consecutive seats in the covered section. Must be getting pretty full!

I am bringing my daughter, she normally comes to Nix within the zone, we always stand, and if she has to stands on seat or I lift her etc. Given her absolute love of screaming and yelling she couldn't be anywhere else.
I just hope other parents who have bought in there actually know what it is.

In my innocence I imagined that in the 'pre-sale' period we could just cite our membership number and get our usual seats...

i have 2 tickets with seat 109 on one and 109a on the other i have never heard of any seats with an a after them usually you get 109 and 110 or maybe 108 and 109. not really 2 bothered as long as they get me through the gate.

Permalink Permalink

They will have sold 15-16,000 easy by the end of today.

Could the game conceivably sell-out during the 2 week pre-sale period?

Can that even happen? Or have they kept a certain number of seats back for public sale?

Let's face it, the pre-sale is pretty much open to anyone anyway.

Would be awesome if it sold out this week.

Ah, you've bought the new "Share-a-seat" option. It's NZF's big idea to make more money - sell the same seat twice.

seems like it, happy to help NZF's share a seat option 60,000 crowd if everyone uses this option when purchasing tickets.

Well, it's not like the "secret" codes are secure. I've heard several conversations round the office this morning with people asking how to get their tickets today and getting told one of the pre-sale codes. They might as well have just open up to public sale this morning, it would make no difference.

About 35,500 I think.

Edit:  Could be 34,500 - but that doesn't include the "a" code-share seats.  TopLeft would know.

Yeah, the stupidest thing would be if there is a cap on pre-sales which then stops the whole momentum in its tracks. Surely not.

I note that this pre-sale ends at 5pm on Thursday and then another one runs from Wed 21 Aug to Fri 23 Aug. A third one then runs from 26 Aug to 28 Aug before they finally go on public sale on 29 Aug. I guess there aren't any tickets sales between those dates? Seems a bit odd.

Ticketek/NZ Football initially (and stupidly) made the White Noise Zone a kid-free area. That changed about a week ago

I may have bought two spare ticket's, but I'd never dream of selling them at anything above face value.
