Bit disturbed that talk is of Lochhead only turning out for team wellington - I suppose without an Aussie passport it's more difficult to get into Asia but surely he could get a gig in Thailand etc

- Sorry, we're unable to obtain the ticket you requested. This is either due to Ticketek's allocation becoming exhausted since you got to this page as other customers may be in the process of completing their transaction on all remaining tickets, or the number of tickets you requested is greater than the maximum available adjacent seats. Please try again.
Yep. Sounds like the White Noise zone is sold out.
I hope they haven't sold all the white noise tickets in the first pre-sale.... anyone know if they are keeping any for the second pre-sale?
You can buy them one at a time, as there are no longer seats together. If you phone up the premier ticketek on 04 384 3842, you can still buy multiple tickets, just not together.
I don't see why they cant allocate more than one ticket at a time online, even if they aren't together, I suppose it means you have to keep paying the booking fee each time!

Had no problem getting a block of 15 tickets in Aisle 23 (3 rows of 5, all together) right where we normally sit. What's more, the 15 tickets arrived in my letterbox this morning just 2 days later. Now, if only the Nix Tix would be that easy.

How did you manage that?

Strategy break down (as in it will break down and fail because its ticket tec) or at least that what I thought your were making out originally.
great to see mexico in good form this morn, beat ivory coast 4-1, hopefully they take that into their next qualifiers. We do not want them slipping down the concacaf table.
All of my tickets arrived by post this morning - was very surprised as ticketek had originally said to allow 7-10 days for them to arrive! Very happy.

Well I've done my bit to support the strategy and got a few from the workplace to get in early.
Had a push with the Jnr Jnrs football team.
Also know of others (not the nutters on this forum) who are buying/have bought.
Looking forward to a whiteout and chance to wear the Nix away strip (in my alter ego as Hatter82)

Hope the Westpac Stadium is free of major damage after the earthquake a few days ago.
Contrary to some sketchy media reports, no actual engineering assessment of the structure has been carried out yet.
At most, only a superficial visual inspection has taken place and that really has no relevance to assessing the stadium's safety.
Your quakes have not been anywhere near as big as ours in Christchurch, so it'll probably be okay - but there's no guarantee...
Experience in Christchurch is that a lot of significant structural damage is not visible to a cursory inspection.
I saw the AMI Stadium in Christchurch a day after the Feb. 22 quake and not much damage was visible to the stands -yet they sustained major structural damage and it's not economic to repair them.
This on the Westpac Stadium website: http://westpacstadium.co.nz/update-following-earthquake-of-16-august-2013
"Engineering assessments on the building itself are being carried out on Monday 19th August. The Stadium building will remain closed until these have been completed."
The All Whites qualifier won't be happening there if there's any significant structural damage - and the Phoenix will be in the s**t too...

On the other hand....rectangular stadium...would it be worth losing the World Cup playoff for?
Allegedly

Liquefaction was the key factor in the damage to Lancaster Park, no?

Might be the one time I'm glad there's rugby on in Wellington. They can test out the stadium first.

If anyone else needs a presale ticket (Aug 19 - 23) use ASBBANK

Last time in Wgton for the qualifier was fantastic. Flew up in the morning, heapsa pubs, streets filled with people, a homeless world cup, it had everything.
Have there been any thoughts by the Council or YF as to what is going on this time? Obviously being a Wed ruins it a little, but still!
I see those in the know did a great job of booking the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club to play the night before, but what else?
I let my guitar speak for me
surely with a full stadium and heaps of outer towners coming, town will be huming. It would be foolish not to capitalise on it. Any word on the NZF after party on courtnay like in 2009?
Holy crap, Jetstar are trying to change my flights from 9:55am to 5:10pm!!
Second change in about 3 weeks!
