Does it matter 2 Boys? Plenty of clubs develop good players who, for one reason or another, don't necessarily go on to the first team at that particular club. Development is rarely linear within the confines of "one club". As someone somewhere on these pages said a while back, and I'm probably misquoting, players go "where ambition meets opportunity".
Absolutely agree. What I find interesting is that Bluemagic would have us believe the success of the ACFC youth team is down to the clubs / franchises development of the players?
I’ve always thought it would be good if NZF got their website info up to date and published details of the youth league squads with their club of origin included. The work key people at clubs like Ellerslie, Western Springs, TKU, Eastern Suburbs, East Coast Bays, Forrest Hill etc. are doing with youth in this city should be what is being recognised and celebrated!

Of course though there's no possible way that those players could of improved during the summer though is there with the quality of coaching available and they level that they get to play at?
And who would benefit from that other than the ASBP Clubs?
