Will Phoenix Reserves be added? If so, you'd imagine a 10th team or franchise would be required, unless someone wants out. Will the Wanderers retain a spot each year for U20 World Cup training squads?

If you bring the Phoenix reserves in, surely you would re-visit Manawatu?

Where would the Nix Reserves home ground be? Newtown?

says it here, stopped in Feb 2014

Keinzley is the sort of guy who would guarantee a dedicated players coach service from Carterton/Masterton to Palmy airport and back if it meant Wairarapa was in with a chance of an ASB place.

But there is an Airport then
So how did Youth teams get to Masterton?
Maybe a bus from another airport.
Nguarawahia got an Airport?
No but yet Waikato have played there

(I thought I had posted that link. Thanks backheel)

There is a big difference between a 20min bus ride from Hamilton airport to Ngaruawahia, (the same from Waitakere to Auckland airport which would be further I suspect) and Masterton to.............

The fact is, it has an airport that no one flies to. Are you going to fly into PN or Welly and bus the rest?

This will not happen.

So once again how did youth teams get there?
In previous seasons teams have flown to Auckland and bused to Narra
And how do Heartland Championship teams get there in NPC Rugby?

They say they're not ready for the ASB. Step too far. Happy staying with the youth league.

I dont know the ins and outs of the asb prem, but isn't it amateur? therefore players cant be directly paid for playing? wouldn't the nix reserves players be being paid? for example the likes of luke adams, and watson etc.

. Can be paid directly related expenses. But top players make great youth coaches and can be payed for that.

It's passed off at amateur to get pokie funding, but it actually isn't and is in fact constantly referred to by players and coaches as "semi professional" in the media.

Not that difficult to get your head around.

Are Nix Reserves good enough? Didn't they get humped 7-1 by YHM in the year that YHM got dumped. Need YHM to return before considering Nix.

Got to get a team together 1st they struggled to field a side in the pointless Phoenix challenge and only played a couple of the games that were arranged for there benefit

No other A-League has a Reserve side playing in Summer do they?

A bit more difficult to get your head around a parasite of a club that just takes from every other club in NZ without giving anything in return

No parasite - just management decisions for the good.
