I see Green Island lost to Varsity over the weekend, did Rod coach the team?

Rod 1st team and Rory the second.

Only saw 10 mins, seemed to be a lot of running.
Tennesse came on, nice kid just a bit soon.

Saw the soccerotago site & noticed Peter Evans with his brother Kenny who was the ref, Kenny shouldn't be reffing any Roslyn game!

Mosgiel vs Roslyn this weekend!

will go for the draw here, both sides are solid enough but both teams lack quality strikers

Coburn burgess for past 5 years, Chisholm good when he was here though. Prattley might wrap it up mind you seen joy play afew games now and hes got very good, strong and quick. Overton is class aswel. Cavvy to win it all :)

After watching a number of very good players in opening rounds of SPL. I can't get my head around why there were christchurch players in Otago Utd. With the exeption of Knox who was very good. The rest were nothing special. Anderson was very average. Reichwein and Sadd played well although would like to see locals in there instead. Maybe even at least one player from each club. I think Ross Mackenzie(Qtwn) would add alot if they  got him in there.number 4(GBs) midfield looks a good player. Joy, Coldicott, Peter Rae, Lyoyd(spirit),Justin Flaws, Northern LB just to name a few.

Last 5 Horner, Coburn, Deeley, Burgess, Mather.
My vote would probably go to Horner

Next 5 wil depend on who's stays in town
But Connor/Cunningham/Mepham/Watson are all conternders as well

I think Yeovil is just throwing a few names in there Truth but Mather...serious? if he was any good, he'd be playing in one of the top 3 teams

Cavy, Tech or Mosgiel!

The best player to set foot in the league over the past 5 years is Dunedin Technical's Tim Myers & he might as well take out the next five year gong to.

Well Nothern bet Queenstown 11-0 last year but we've signed up 3 ex-pros (ex-man city, an england age group trialist, and another who ill find who she played for).. So the team looks real solid this year, I think it'd be tight, for sure.

would be nice to have some upsets this year, i think Cavvy will struggle against Roslyn up at Ellis Park but Cavvy to win the league in the end

was the Caversham Roslyn game a fair result?

Mosgiel should've beaten Tech but like every year the officials are against them!

from what i saw Tech deserved to beat Mosgiel, even though it was played in semi poor conditions they adapted better. cavvy might not make the station on time this year meow

The Old Firm From Tech ( Flaws , Coburn , Burgess ) dominated the battle at Tonga , Overton was the best from Cavy , Good performances from Smith & Myers also ,

Hahahah we call him Steven Boyle down in Queenstown.. but i talked to Steve (coach)about it and he was just so pissed off. Dont think Steven Boyle should be reffing anyway.. always trys to get involved in the game, ruins it in the end ala Saturdays game. Anyway what do you think about the Rovers new strip? i think its class.
