Are you getting a little bit worried deli about some competition for the right back position at tech? I think that there should just be a scrap between henderson and dale to see who will play week in week out - the lads can have odds - big rich smith can be the booky. I would have thought from the last incident that if I was you Richy id start the odds pretty evenly with Dale just slight favorite due to his passion that he has for the mighty club. I highly doubt that Richard Smith and Andy Coburn will be going to GI... same rumours were floating around last year.  I heard one of the players was rumoured to be going to Northern for nothing less than 'a thousand dollars and a f'ing car!'

Hot off the Press , Terry Phelan will be assisitant coach to Alan Laidler at the Brae's this season , he's quoted as saying the team at Brae's this year is about as good as he had at Otago United , and is looking forward to working with some real talent this season.

a scratchy win but three ppoints are three points. HBU certainly dominated particaully in midfield, and had far more attacking chances. But one good ball in from coburn and a handy one touch shot from everyones favourite Cantab Stu Kelly, 1-0. Hawkes Bay espec. when they bought on a trhird striker made the play and abba, roam, birnie and g barbarouses all had chances to win it.
