irrespective of the crowd, it was yet another stong, commited effort particually in defence (bar first five minutes) from an Otago side that must be a favourite to make the 4. Ben Light, what a signing, sure hes our 8th Cantab but hes already proved his worth with two fine goals. Good to see dugdale back to full fitness. Horner had an inspired game and was my second player of the game behind Light. Apart from that no standouts just another solid team effort to sit 3rd , 4 pts clear of 4th place Welly.

Christchurch based Ross Mackenzie has just informed me that he is keen to fly down for games this season & will play for any club in Dunedin if they want him

Sean Brand has officially signed for Northern.
Terry Boylan signed with Caversham (old news)
Justin Flaws signed with Northern
Rickey Chidley signed with Northern aswel
Richard Smith and Hayden Gunn with Green Island
Ross Mckenzie with University
Blair Scoular signed with Cavvy
Mike Fridge could be transferring to Southland Spirit
Tim Horner and Mike Smith signed with Timaru FC
Al Rickby signed with Green Island
Malcolm Fleming transferring to assistant coach for Grants Braes.
