I thought Sam Mason-Smith was also part of the squad?

should be a really interesting season considering every single team except maybe Canterbury and Southern are faced with a completely new squad

It’s there or there abouts. Ilich, Hilliar and Schrivjers hard players to replace. But definitely recruited well with a good blend of youth and experience.

Transfermarkt page

Interesting chap - 31 yo, 1.95m tall CB.

Mainly played in the Serbian and Montenegrin 2nd divisions before playing in the Maldives and Indonesia.

He most recently played in the Romanian 2nd division.

EDIT: Looks like he played more in the 1st division (Serbia, Montenegro) than in the 2nd one.

A guy from Montenegro to fill one of the gaps at the back

Signed from the Montenegrin First League side, FK Mornar, Marković is the 19th player to be signed for the upcoming season.

Born in Bar, Montenegro, Marković began his youth career with FK Vojvodina before signing with his local side, FK Mornar where he would play for three seasons before moving to OFK Grbalj.

Marković would go on to play for OFK Beograd in the Serbian SuperLiga before making the shift to the Albanian side, FK Kukësi.

Over the 2013/14 season, Marković played for FK Sindelić Beograd and FK Dečić before returning back home with FK Mornar where he made 39 appearances over two seasons.

Following a period with FK Lovćen, Marković spent a season with New Radiant S.C based in the Maldives making 22 appearances and scoring four goals.

The defender then had a spell with Indonesian club, Borneo FC before moving to UTA Arad in Romania.

Hey Blew2 whats going on, you lot signed Ollie Whyte today and yet again I (an Auckland City fan) am the first to mention it on this site.....

Standards are slipping...........is it bitterness that after the CWC money is being spent on players rather than the BBQ :-)))

Some days I have to work, sleep and get a beer before I look at facebook to see what the team is doing.

The only way I can get to afford whittaker's sante bar to cover the whole squad.

Squad lists have been sent to some journos. SMS not on TWs. Looks like someone had a change of heart, given he was previously registered by TW.

Apparently TW have 5 imports already announced (Markovic, Bachelor, McKeown, Kilkolly & Bassett)

Kilkolly isn't an import

BTW what are the import numbers allowed this season

A few Qzzy NPL clubs have signed players on 2 year deals. A few years ago a few imports transferred to other clubs for the NPL off season and skipped out to a better deal for the 2nd year (not sure how enforceable the 2nd year is after release?)

This made clubs question the release of players and they tried to work loan deals.

Does this mean you can just add another foreigner to your squad for the Grand Final? What a joke!!!

You can have 10 foreign players in your squad but you can only have 5+1 on the team list handed to the ref (On Comet On Dancer) in std league games n 6+1 on the team list handed to the ref (On Comet On Dancer) for GF

I live in the past! Still, $60 is great value, might buy one as the little man loves going to TW with me and looks forward to playing with Scott B's kid in the stands..

However your Nix pass does get you into WeeNix home games.
