TW season pass not part of a Nix season pass anymore?

That's not been the case for a number of years now.

I live in the past! Still, $60 is great value, might buy one as the little man loves going to TW with me and looks forward to playing with Scott B's kid in the stands..

However your Nix pass does get you into WeeNix home games.

well given they never have anyone on the gate at Weenix home games you can use whatever pass you want!

Some days I have to work, sleep and get a beer before I look at facebook to see what the team is doing.

The only way I can get to afford whittaker's sante bar to cover the whole squad.

Someone on here said he was listed with NZF as TeeDubs but may not like Sante Bars

Until Its on FaceBook it not true LOL

Sam only landed back in the country mid last week, Reason for late release need the paper work finished.

TeeDubs have looked a class above. Watch them bottle it now that I've said it.

Not for the first time, these commentators are having difficulty with the concept that Team Wellington might just be a whole lot better than their local team

PS, Dewhurst, we all know you're from Upper Hutt

PPS, it's "Sinclair", not "Henry-Sinclair"

For those following the U17 thread, there's no doubt ACFC have been playing with a back 5 today. The wide guys are only going higher now that they are behind.

One of the things I loved about Jose's TW, is that he played 3-4-3 with genuine wingers out wide

not sure who was on the bench, but i think hales got his 2nd sub wrong. the 2 big men up front didn't work. At this point the team needed Bevin in the half spaces and more cover on rogerson's side.

i thought bilen, mitchell and rogerson were excellent for city

Not many chances created by either team was there?

I think it was needs must. There was no other cover at left wing-back on the bench, or anyone that could be rotated there, from watching it.

I thought the game was quite chess like, until 20 minutes to go. It began to open up, as both teams wanted to nick a win.

it was interesting they only took four subs to Auckland rather than the usual 5. Kilkolly had been replaced on the bench by mason-smith

No it was pretty dull, but the technical stuff and ball speed was all good

What did you think of the standard?

Better standard from what I’d seen of the previous week and no doubt some quality players, but perhaps something is missing if they are testing the keeper regularly?
how did Gulley look?

I thought Rogerson looked just like the issues he always had. Goes to ground to easily when holding possession would be better and runs himself into dead ends because he doesn't look up.

People calling for him to be at the Phoenix are taking the piss.

True. But there is still something about him that says maybe he can make things click. Those talking up Gulley for the nix seem to have gone quiet

Double  post

Both teams have depth. Browne who came on at the end - is he usually a starter? Kilkolly going to see the pitch again?

Browne usually starts. Will be interesting for City when Clayton Lewis' match fit.

They'll have Manickum, Browne, Lewis all competing for the same position.

Tee Dubs related - Ollie Whyte is a nasty little player. Got away with lots of late challenges, elbows, petty fouls all game.

Ref was poor yesterday for both teams.

Agree with this. Let a lot of stuff go that should've been called, and then whistled for some really innocuous stuff.
