really good win this morning, thats the best we have looked defensivly for a while now, especially cech who was on top form, they did have a few shots but none of real danger. very good first half and like has happened a few times this season (blackpool, marseille, zilina) we came out a bit sluggish in the second half and had to do alot of defending, which as i said, we did very well.

still really want drogba and lampard to come back, kalou didnt look too flash this morning but was his first game back from injury.

now focus turns to wolves at home this weekend, no excuses, have to win

yea anelkas was nice, though he had three 1 on 1s with the keeper so you hope he would at least get one of them

yay didier back tonight, aswell as sturridge. still no lamps though

hoefully bosingwa continues his recovery well, such a decent player when fit

well we didnt play too well at all,  but we got the win

drogba back, bosingwa looking very good, zhirkov looking god, kalou coming on a scoring, cech keeps another clean sheet, mceachran gets on

all positives from the game.

wasnt impressed with how we played for long periods, should have been able to dictate the game better than we did

That was my fourth consecutive football match when I was watching. So I was drifting in and out of sleep. Remember Maloudas goal sort of. Not the best performance from what I hear, but three points is good. Cech is playing well. Good to have Bosingwa back.

5 points clear at the top, go the Gunners tonight!

Strange game....very muted goal celebrations as well...but going 5 points clear again is great.

got blackburn tonight, alex will be back and ramires is available again. expecting a very tough, physical game. JT has come out saying he is ready for blackburn and ready for a scrap. should be good, though still no lampard

just need a draw against zilina at home to qualify top of the group, shouldn't be a problem. will be good to rotate the squad a bit for the next 2 games given our busy schedule

ramires is back now though, played vs spartak

it was interesting watching the spartak game, after ivanovic scored his second he had a pretty muted celebration, almost looked angry. it was his mistake that led to their goal. was good to see that even with the win comfortable, and him scoring an unlikely brace, he was annoyed they had scored

well f**k, that was dumb

oh well, things just didnt go our way. we were undone by a much improved looking torres. was 8 wins in a row vs 'big 4' so cant be too dissapointed, except that it was liverpool

still, just gotta put that behind us and move on to the next, still 2 points clear at the top
