Lampard and Terry are about to have surgery.

yea that will be why lamps looked off, he felt pain and hes gota have a hernia operation. drogba had one earlier and was back in training 7 days later so hopefully frank isnt sidelined for too long

international windows are perfect for scheduling surgery or taking an "injury" break

forgot to give credit to JT for his setting up of malouda for the opener, nice tackle, run then a lovely pass.

malouda has scored the first goal in every game so far, i remember duff was awfull good at being the first goal scorer

I was going to mention this yesterday. I only know one other Chelsea fan, so that makes two of you now.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

I like the look of Ramires. Despite him being very lightweight. And good that Kakuta got a run. Love him, he'll be class.

Let's not get carried away boys.  Long, long way to go.  Thought occured to me on Saturday though that Kakuta could be our new Joe Cole.  Any thoughts?

pretty happy with the result this morning. played real well, and they played poorly for the frist 50 mins then they seemed to get going and, worringly we couldnt keep up

very happy to see sturridge get a start, and kakuta getting some game time. i see similarities between drogba and sturridge, i think with decent first team experience he could become a genuine game winning striker

thats assuming man utd eat liverpool, we could go 5 clear if they dont

No, we'd still be 4 points clear, but 7 points ahead of United.

We are on 12 from 4, Gooners 11 from 5, United 8 from 4.

great first half this morning, just didnt let off at all, was superb to watch. 2nd half was a bit dissapointing, blackpool threw everything at us and we didnt concede so thats a positive but we didnt look anywhere near as good as we did in the first. would have been a good time to bring sturridge and kakuta on but all good. cant really be unhappy with a 4-0 win

Looking unstoppable you guys, I must admit. In light of last week, I'll keep my comments a bit less controversial today.

I can't see anyone beating you at this stage.

Got Newcastle mid-week. I'm thinking there will be a few changes with City in mind. Sturridge, Yossi and Zhirkov to all get a start i'm thinking.

also looks as though we will have JT back for City which is handy

yea its good to see, i really rate bruma, this lad has a big future. turnbull will replace cech in goal. Cole, Mikel, Essien and Drogba all have the night off.

Should be a good test for the young lads. i

I see Newcastle are also resting players such as Nolan, Carroll, Williamson, Routledge, Barton and giving a debut to Sol Campbell.
