4-1?!?! must've really pissed them off by taking the cup!

Pressure is well and truly on for Munich now

a lot of promise from the younger players against blackburn. Lukaku, Sturridge, Hutchinson, and Bertrand all looked quality. Hope they get a bit more game time next season.

Can't wait for Sunday, especially after Munich wobbled against Dortmund (although I don't know if they played their first team or not?).

Anyone else heading to Foxes for the game?

What a game! Foxes Ale House in Auckland was packed and booming! Awesome result!

Still to be confirmed by the club, but it looks as though Jose Bosingwa and Salomon Kalou will be following the Drog out of the Bridge come the end of June.

Not a huge surprise and I don't think either will be missed. Bosingwa, to his credit, did put in a superb performance at centre-half in the Nou Camp this season but was powderpuff at right-back. Kalou played well at Benfica this season but was just too inconsistent and predictable. Good moves by the club.

Looks like Sky has dropped the game?! It's not showing on mysky or the online sky tv guide, I've sent an email now asking wtf is going on.

aint that a kick in the balls.  Renewed my international membership this morning so I could jump on ChelseaTV and watch the Seattle Sounders game at 1:30pm just to get told that it will take up to 5 days to process the request.  Its a renewal, not a new signing, I figured it would just click on.

Anyone know of any decent stream sites?  Fingers crossed Wizwig will have something that won't require installing some dodgy piece of software

EDIT.

Never mind, found it on bet365.com , c'mon you Blues!

11mins in and 2 goals up :)

over 13 years ago · edited over 13 years ago

oops! low powered pass across the goalmouth from McEachran gets snapped up, and Montenero makes it 2-1

over 13 years ago · edited over 13 years ago

Score at Halftime Chelsea 4- Sounders 2 Lukaku x2, Hazard x1, Marin x1 - Montenero x2.

Looking a little fragile at the back, the young guns are playing really well though

The second-half team is: Blackman; Hutchinson, Ivanovic, Cahill, Ferreira; Essien, Lampard; Ramires, Hazard, De Bruyne; Lukaku

fulltime 4-2.  Decent game from the new signings. Marin, Mata, Hazard midfield is going to be lethal in the PL.

De Bruyne looking good on the ball, very quick, but 3 shots waaay over the box.  Looking forward to the rest of the preseason games.

Decent game against PSG at Yankee stadium.

Not the greatest game by Malouda. Hazard and Marin were fantastic, really excited about these guys in the EPL.

Fair result 1-1 with Piazon netting his first for the senior side.

Torres set to join up with the team in Philly against the MLS All Stars - which actually will be played on Sky thurs 26 (unless they changes their minds again).

Chelsea v MLS Allstars on now, decent paced game so far

MLS take the lead through Wondolowski 1-0

Trying to find the MLS lineup, I know Henry, Becks and Donovan Landon are on

over 13 years ago · edited over 13 years ago

Yessss!!!! 1-1 pinpoint accurate corner from Lamps, headed in by JT. Makes up for his balls up that let the MLS goal in. C'mon Blue!

over 13 years ago · edited over 13 years ago

Luiz, Turnbull and Malouda on for the 2nd half

over 13 years ago · edited over 13 years ago

Nice bit of footwork from Lukaku but just over the bar

nice wee tap in from Lampard makes it 2-1 Chels

and Chris Pontius given waaaay too much room and smashes it through the back of the net to equalise 2-2

over 13 years ago · edited over 13 years ago

wow, ref missed a clear handball and a penalty shortly after for an MLS player shoving Hazard in the back and denying a clear goalscoring opp. Then Eddie Johnson guns it down the other end to make it 3-2 MLS ahead.

Chelsea freekick in the last few seconds of the game, Luiz taking it.

into the wall, ref calls full time.

Both teams played well, Chelsea with most of the posession.

decent start to the season, was absolutley wrapt with the first goal, and Lamps penalty was brilliant.

I thought Oscar did well for the short time he was on

over 13 years ago · edited over 13 years ago

Hazard went from being the transfer drama queen to the guy everyone wants, what a start to the season!

over 13 years ago · edited over 13 years ago

sucks to have missed out on the Community Shield and the Super Cup (the Super Cup in particular was painful to watch) but looking great in the league.  Can't wait for Marin to get some game time, Marin Mata and Hazard behind Torres would be awesome

Gaaahhh!!! Bastard bloody Sky!

As of Friday they only had the delayed coverage at 8:30am Sunday available, set to record - lovely.  So I get up flick on the telly to find that the mysky box is recording the Man U Wigan replay .... checked the tv guide again and they've scrapped the delayed game for the live game which kicked off at 1:45am.  First world problem I know, but I was really looking forward to this game after the international break.

Would have been nice to have received an email from sky saying that the listing had changed. grrrrrrrrr

Very much so. Checked their listings too and was looking forward to an 8:30 game. Considering the significance between the two clubs with that handshake bullshit etc, yet they showed Joke & Citeeh "Live" instead.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!
