Man City admit to wanting to sign Donovan. Go away, hes reserved for us!

Yeah, but we can't afford to buy him from LA Galaxy. Man City can :-(

Its no longer a problem.

The MLS will have a big say on whether or not Landon Donovan goes anywhere they're still trying to build the profile of the MLS and soccer in the U.S and without home grown superstars like Landon playing there they will struggle to get fans through the gate players like Thierry Henry and what's his face who use to play for Arsenal in Rm whose name completely escapes me right now will help lift the sport but Americans like rooting for Americans. the Mls Chairman has already said he's here for the next season

and Gosling's completed his f/t to Noocastle which sucks but oh well...

Yes that is true. I wouldn't mind Donovan staying in the MLS, I just don't want to see him sign for City as I'm sure you would agree. We just need to keep our existing players at the club so we can make a genuine CL spot challenge

Jutzkeiwscz and Gosling gone (Coventry and Noocastle). Praying to the almighty football gods that no-one major leaves. Have heard Arteta, Cahill and Jagielka mentioned but am hoping its just typical transfer market gossip. Would also be nice to sign someone of note.

Its no longer a problem.

Everton 2 - Everton 0
Also just received my '86 retro shirt. That takes the total to and even dozen Everton shirts home (have 1/2 doz various other Everton shirts and a doz other shirts). Not sure if I'll get this seasons pink one but will def try to get the limited edition purple one and the home one as always.

Its no longer a problem.

Great news on Arteta. I see Pienaar following his example also.
On other news, Jagielka makes England squad and is favourite to partner Terry.

Have watched every single preseason game. We have been brilliant in the first 6 of those but against Wolfsburg we were rubbish.

About the only positive from that game was Tim Howard saving a pen.

Lets hope we start well this W/E.

I'm picking beckford to push his way into the starting XI before the end of the season he looks really sharp.

Im going to get the away kit just after christmas time. They usually have a sale on the kit just after christmas and you can pick up a shirt for 20quid.

I've got last years home and i still wear that alot im actually more fond of it than this home  years kit.

Can't wait for the season to begin. Amazingly, we have only one injury - Anichebe! Such a contrast to last season where we had all the injuries and the Lescott saga. Sir Alex made an interesting comment saying that he thinks we will do well as we have all our players fit. I agree with him, we were the second best team (by results) in the latter half of last season when we had a near fully fit squad. Bring on Blackburn!

Hi I'm a Liverpool fan but just a tip, you guys should put a few bob on Everton to win the EPL.
Everton have won the title every 24 years since 1891 and guess what this is year #24 [2010/11] since the last time.
History does repeat. In a Word Istanbul, history always had the Redmen winning.

I had to get that dig in.
Good luck guys.

We're all over Wolves at the moment just not on the scoreboard 22mins

GOAL!!! 1-0 Cahill scores from a Mikel Arteta free kick which should have been a penalty 44mins

Half time 1-0 COYB'S

Oh FFS !!! Wolves equalise 74 mins (you could see it coming)

not the best 2nd half performance Everton

F/time 1-1  Only Wolves should be happy with that result

Great game but very disappointing about the scoreline. We attacked very well but Villa's defence was better. Another good Everton vs Villa game

Bloody Villa. Even if you do manage to penetrate their brick wall of a defence, you've got bloody Friedel to deal with! Aaaargh!

Villa can get their beady eyes off Moyse. He's ours for ever. Like Sir Alex at Manure. He'll be a Toffee for at least 20 years.

Its no longer a problem.
