You've got a bob each way on this one, haven't you? Win/win situation!

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

for a second this morning i thought I'd ended up on a hoax site at 2-0 after 20 odd mins!!

we seemed to almost toss it away in the 2nd half, just about to watch vid now

Brilliant perk up for a late november thursday at work!

edit -watched vid -feeling great - then looked at our fixtures for rest of the year -glad we got those 3 points

excellent effort displayed and one or two moments of very good football

there was a period mid/late 1st half were we moved the bvall around really well

delighted with the point - and that pen balances out one of the decisions in the burnley game

it'll probably be one of the things i remember most about this season as long as we are safe before the last match

(which - given who we are playing - we better be!)

Jimmy Bullard is Barclays' player of the month for November

so i was right, when i answered my wife's question this morning "Who is the best player in the world?" with the reply  "Jimmy Bullard"

in other news, ... a point off Villa would be rather nice

edit - and yes, for the social psychologists out there; i reckon there is a correlation between alcohol consumption and the number of emoticons per post  (and the number of spelling errors you have to go back and fix! )

It's his OTHER knee, not the one he had the op on.
Further news on Monday after a thorough examination.

Bullard's injury is now rumoured to be medial ligamnet = 4-6 weeks out

as opposed to cruciate = season ending injury

latest news - 6-8 weeks out

back around end of Jan - I hope!!

good news

In a way but this leaves an awful gap in mid-field where Jimmy kept the ball moving and directed the play. Previously we just sent the long ball (never saw the point in this with a lone striker tactic) or passed back to the keeper. He is going to be very much missed and with Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal all coming up during this period we are likely to come under some heavy fire.

that's two points we could have done with

might be case of hoping those around us struggle, until we get the matches against Arsenal Man U etc out of the way

Well I'll make a forecast now.
Games to come:
Manchester United - Loss.
Bolton (A) - Hopefully a draw.
Chelsea - Loss.
Spurs - Loss.
Manchester United (again) - Loss.
Wolves (H) - a win.
Manchester City - Loss.
Blackburn Rovers (A) - Loss.
West Ham (A) - Loss.
Aston Villa - Loss.

4 points making a total of 21 points at the end of February.
The CCC and Leeds United await us with open arms!
Altidore and Soko sent back.

you might be close to the eventual truth OzT

but I'm hoping for 6 or 7 points and equally (or more) importantly a good bounce back when we play a few mid/lower table teams

getting Jimmy B back will help - if it's not too late

as a minor aside - it'll be interesting to see if Nasri cops a suspension

"We walked across there yesterday. We saved a girl actually - considering her future, shall we say."
Phil Brown claims to have turned good Samaritan on a Hull City team walk across the Humber Bridge by using his "sweet talk" to save a suicidal woman from jumping
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I'm not entirely sure what planet PB was on when he came out with that DF,

in other news: no 4th round to distract us

v good attitude shown in our away point that saw Megson depart Bolton

chelsea next up at home

- the way we started the season v them I thought it was all going to be a bit less traumatic than it has been so far!

Cousin scored the goal for Gabon that defated Cameroon 1-0

let's hope that means someone will take him off our hands (he's someone who only seems to play when he's in the mood and that doesn't happen often enough)

Zaki signed now, but he's gone home to sort things out before returning - we'll probably see him in April

Hopefully Zaki is as good as he was at teh begining of his last stint at Wigan.
Bo Myhill was top shelf v the Yids. Several world class saves and 2 of them double saves.
We need som three pointers though and for Pompey and Wolves to keep losing.

Its no longer a problem.
