At Least Bristol haven't been pumping in the goals like some of the other promotion contenders. If you get one goal early I hope Bristol struggle to get more than a draw out of the game.
Following the Championship over here has been great. The history of the match-ups, parochialism, passion and singing of the supporters has been great. But the results have added a real tension and unpredictability which has hooked me in more than the Prem.
Last weekend I saw Watford play Charlton at the Valley and couldn't get over how poor the refereeing was. It was a 2-all draw with Charlton 2 up at half time.
I've been told the Championship refs were usually better than the Prem as they're not overawed but while watching it I felt like it could have been a replay of one of the A League games by the standard of referring. A very physical Watford charged Charlton players off the ball with no whistles going, they missed offsides, even a missed handball in the box.
But the atmosphere was great. There's a lot to be said about purpose-built football grounds which don't have to accommodate cricket, AFL or athletics.
Come on you U's, Vale and Barnsley (sorry LG) ;)
