As always the midfield passing was good from the young Gooners, Ramsey, Merida, Eduardo all linked up well. Merida scored a particularly good goal. Bendtner also grabbed one but really Skrtel and, to a lesser extent, Kyrgiakos should have dealt with him. Also, Sanchez Watt came on for Arsenal with a bit of fanfare.

First time I am really thinking Benitez out...
Torres taken off when we were 1-1? Having Kyrgiakos mark up against the smaller player and Carragher against Zamora. Taking off Benayoun when we went behind. Leaving on wasteful players like Voronin and Degen (Same in League cup, and taking N'Gog off). Not sure where Dan Agger was but he leaves a big hole in defence that no one in our squad can fill at the moment.
Today Rafa was rubbish, Carragher continues his horrible play, Degen red card was extremely harsh. We were flat and Fulham played a better tactic of counter attacking us.
Well... at least Torres played well, Eccelson and Ayala got some more experience.

*sigh* I've been away so I couldn't comment, but Insua's goal was brilliant! Thought it was a defo pen for handball on Alberto's (?) overhead kick that hit Senderos' arm. But some things aren't meant to be and as soon as the draw was made I had pretty much accepted we were on the way out!
As for Fulham, well, who couldn't see it coming? Everything we did against United, we didn't do against Fulham. Carra was back to his worst, Degen...I think Kelly should be given a go ahead of him- he's awful. I don't really know what's wrong, but if even Zamora can score against us then something is seriously wrong! I'm keeping it cool though, I really don't think sacking Rafa is an option.
Torres wasn't fully fit so Rafa took him off to avoid having him injured "for one month". And Agger was injured again.
6 losses in 7 games deosn't make for pretty reading. Next up, a must-win in France...

Ok, now I'm getting a lil' annoyed...
What the Rafa is going on?? It's almost like a plague of self doubt and loss in confidence has decimated the team. Wouldn't mind being a fly on the dressing room wall to see what's going on in there. I'm just befuddled...

Exactly! Against Lyon, when they equalised you could see the confidence and belief drain away. We're getting into a losing habit... Just gotta get a few wins under the belt, and we'll be alright.

Looking pretty dire in terms of injuries, Gerrard confirmed as not even travelling for CL v Lyon. Same with Skrtel, Reira and Kelly, plus doubts over Torres.
Gotta love this qoute from Rafa...
"We have to take Fernando to Lyon because we don't have too many options."
No sh!t Sherlock.

How interesting to note the teams that have beaten Liverpool in the league this season: Fulham, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Tottenham and Sunderland. Those, Rafa, are indisputable FACTS.
If your going to quote Asreblogger, give him the credit.

Meh. Then that should be that! And away we go on an incredible winning streak...Take the piss all you like, at least somebody had the balls to stand up toMr Ferguson...
Don't like the bloke, but I do admire the achievements.
If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Reina, Carragher, Agger, Krygiakos, Insua, Kuyt, Lucas, Mascherano, Benayoun, Voronin, Torres.
We're looking a touch weak at the back. Carragher needs to pull finger and play the game of his season tonight. Voronin's job will be to stay out of Nando's way and pass him the ball!

Tough to take, to be honest. But can't fault the effort. Voronin was awful, Torres was 75% fit. But Lucas and Masch were boss. Their kind of game, I suppose. Lyon were terrible and now we have to hope they get a win (or at least draw) in Italy. Tough, but not impossible. We can still get there. However, its out of our hands at the moment.
On the other hand, some good news: Liverpool reserves 1-0 Everton reserves!
