Those Man U spectators are classic.  One's giving the fingers and there are two taking photos.  They need to make up their minds.

And is the ginger at the front wearing a Liverpool hat?

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Doing the double over them, indeed tearing them apart on their own backyard. Superb. I'm just so so so happy. Every goal we scored was superb. Torres gave us the lead just before halftime and although he started getting tired towards the end, he was superb. Just a fantastic player. Happy for Gerrard too, to finally score their. I loved how they started leaving with 15 minutes to go!! And that huge "Rafa's Cracking Up" sign...where was that at the end?! SO HAPPY!! Still! What a week!

Oh, and I had to laugh when Dossena scored. Absolutely great goal and really was the icing on the cake. And Mr Ferguson crying himself to sleep because of the kick off time...El-Kun2009-03-17 16:26:51

Anyone want to predict?
Manure 10 games to go?
7 wins 3 draws? 24 points

Liverpool 9 games
7 wins 2 draws? 23 points.

Manure to win the league?

One game means nothing. You are still 4 points behind and Utd have a game in hand. You have never won the EPl, and you won't win it this year. You are still only third.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Liverpool fan said to me that "beating Man U like that was nearly as good as beating Everton".

Nearly!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Think the only teams that have the potential to make the Scum drop any points are Villa, Arse and possibly City, but all those matches are at Old Trafford. Hopefully some of the rest of 'em can pinch a draw or two, and maybe someone might even beat them, but we'll be needing Scum to take a massive dive in form in order for that to happen.

Four draws is possible but unlikely, three draws and a loss even more so. 2 losses and a draw would be an implosion of huge proportions.

Even if we win the rest of ours, we'd need them to drop at least 8 points form their remaining 10 games.

If we lose/draw just one game, we can forget about it for yet another year...

Bragging rights temporarily... Besides, at least its a monkey off Rafa's back. Its been 17 years since anyone hammered United so heavily at OT, I think we deserve our week of joy...

Superb. Just when I'm thinking the week couldnt be any better, it gets better! Great, I do love Rafa. Cant wait to see the reception he gets at Anfield against Villa!

On a different note, who do we want for the Champions League draw?

Not the team I wanted, but it's quarters and it isn't the hardest team, but these games are always tight and there's plenty of history between the players and is now a grudge match. Need calm, cool heads and we should get through.

Holy sh*t boys, the results have certainly gone your way this morning thus far. Apart from doing us gooners a favour by beating villa tomorrow, i hope you also do it just to make the title race go down to the wire!

Oh Danny, still at it, brilliant. They'll be playing the next match without Rooney, Vidic and Scholes. Have to beat Villa now.

You little f*cking beauty!

Great way to start the week, 5-0 drubbing in a game we might have drawn (or even lost) a few weeks back.

Looks like the boys are on form, and the performance from the team just goes to show that we can win even when Gerrard and Torres are having an off day. Thought Reira had a cracker.

Nice way to get Villa all pissy for the Scum next week too...

Yeah Riera was by far the stand out, also thought Aurelio and Reina played really well too. Gerrard could hardly complete a pass today, yet got a hat-trick by passing the ball three times into the bottom right corner. Torres looked out of touch today, but we didn't need him on form hopefully he is saving some big performances

5-0 with Gerrard and Torres below par....I'll take that.

We're on the march with Rafa's Red Army!

Thank you very much!  Fingers crossed niether of our squads pick up any injured players during next weekends international break.
I would be very wary of Fulham at the moment - they have only lost once to a top four team in the league all season. Its the minnows you have to be carefull of (as we learned to our detriment)

Hey, UG our pleasure. Hopefully you can return the favour in the second last week.

If you'd told me 2 weeks ago we'd score 13 goals against Real, Utd and Villa I would have wondered what mind altering substance you were smoking. Funny old game Football!

Bad time for the international break tho' I'd hate to see us lose the momentum and we always seem to get players injured, especially Torres.

Game on tho'

Torres played pretty badly against Villa, but that was largely due to the fact he had two men on him the whole time! Riera was great, as was Skrtel! A great performance, and a great two weeks. 4-0, 1-4 and 5-0, Rafa signing a new contract, Gerrard having the assault charge dropped... Long may the good times last!

As has been said, lets hope nothing bad happens on international duty to our players... bad time for an international break!

As for the Champions League draw, its going to be tight. But DD was right, what's with United?! Not great that we play at Anfield first leg, to be honest. Hope for no Riise moments.

Oh, and Super Dan... Now let us win at the Cottage! Hopefully Villa can bounce back with a draw!!

Rooney not getting punished further is a joke.

Yeah, they are a very organised side and we struggled to break them down at Anfield. Seem to remember a half-fit Torres being the only shining light.

Yeah, but we tend to play better away from home.

When we play at home a lot of opponents tend to sit back and pack the defense. But Fulham will be encouraged by their game against United and they still have a sniff of getting a UEFA Cup spot so I expect them to have a go at us which should work in our favour.

Yeah, that's true. Gonna be a tough game, I reckon. All we can do is keep winning our games and hope the Mancs slip up a few times! League games are going to get even harder with a lot of teams not certain of survival yet. For a lot of teams (us included) every game is a cup final!

I'm far too young to remember the last time we won the League (I wasn't even born!) and although we came close (ish) a couple of times under Houllier, this is the first time with Rafa and where I have a genuine belief that we could nick it. The squad is getting better and better each season. Its going to be hard, and United are rightfully favourites, but I just hope we at least really push them for it.

Make Us Dream, as the sign once said on that wonderful run in Europe!

What do you think of the rumours about Rafa being keen on Barry again? I really hope that we stick with Xabi and not Barry. The midfield works real well with Xabi, Mascha and Gerrard. man I hope we can keep up this  momentum after the break

I wouldn't mind Barry. He's proven he can play with Gerrard which is a plus and I think to compete on all fronts we can always improve our depth.

I'd still rather have another top striker first though. How much better would our position be now if we'd had someone capable of stepping in for Torres when he was injured.

I'd still love to see someone like David Villa (dreams are free right)
