By all accounts here and on other websites, it wasn't a bad display by us. Hopefully that's a positive sign for the rest of the season and we can hold of citeh and finish fourth. BBC had some discussion about a handball? Massive game for us against City this weekend. Sounds like we really need a second striker too. Come on boys. Tyler2010-02-11 12:43:15

Haven't even seen the match as I WAS OUT ALL DAY/ AFTERNOON/ EVENING. A legit reason not to be on YF. But sounds like we were pretty unlucky. To be honest, I was mentally prepared for the defeat and it was only the constant updates of scores "0-0 20 mins" etc that really killed me. Not too f**ked off though, as I thought we'd probably lose. Glad to see we played alright. Terrible defending on the goal. More analysis when I've actually seen the game. City away is f**king huge. Do we have Europa League next Friday?

Right. I'm away at school camp for the next week. But we do play Europa League on Friday- Unirea at home. Maxi is cup-tied, and Torres is targeting a return for the City game! Lets get a good result against Unirea first. Strong enough team is needed; really don't think we can afford to rest too many players for the City game. Aquilani should start.

Reina, Carragher, Skrtel, Agger, Aurelio, Mascherano, Aquilani, Kuyt, Gerrard, Riera, Ngog.
Subs: Cavalieri, Kyrgiakos, Babel, Lucas, Insua, Degen, Pacheco.
Good to see Aquaman get a start for once. Thought Soto might have been a starter...

Brilliant little header from Pacheco, that. Good to get a win, although sounds like we largely struggled to break them down. Job not quite done, but no away goal is good to see.
City on Monday (?)- MASSIVE.

Anyone see the game? Sounds like it was a bit drab...
You defended really well. They bottled it up front.
Yeah. Skrtel was immense. Good to see Torres get a run out. An expectedly poor game, with neither team wanting to lose. Europa League on Friday?

Happy with that. Wasn't pretty- never going to be. Take in a good lead at half time. Masch- brilliant! Good for Babel to score. Commentators = Twits. Especially towards zonal marking and Javier. Should be able to see this out now...
