2-0 YOU BEAUTY!

Dirk Kuyt pen on 91 minutes. Still 4 to go.

What a cool head, had to retake it and coolly put it the other side.

That's it, 2-0 final score.

1 point off 4th which doesn't seem so far off now. Away at Wolves then home to Bolton, should get maximum points out of those games. Villa have to play the Arse and Spurs play Fulham and Birmingham. Dirk Kuyt is such a grafter well done Mr Ugly!

great win for us hopefully can carry on these results and as the commentator said at the end the games against Everton(home), Arsenal(away) and Man City(away) will define our season.

Brill. Great hard work. Where are all those Spurs boys now? c**ts. Great job, Reds! Kuyt = Hero.

big win, now will you back it up with a run of poor results like you did after beating man utd 2-0 earlier in the season?

the race for fourth will be very interesting now. You guys, the sperms, Villa and sh*tty all in there. I guess you can't really discount Birmingham either at this stage!

Imagine if Everton were in their usual position just behind 4th..it would be all on for young and old!

Yeah, I know! This is so more exciting than being in the title race.....  There are some big games coming up too, Spurs vs Villa, us vs City etc etc. Could be very interesting. It would be nice to back up this win with some more wins though!

Your gonna need him..

Nah. We didn't even need Nando or Stevie to take your lot. We just needed the great man: Dirk Kuyt.

Oh yeah! Cracking atmosphere! Scared them Spurs sh*tless. Brilliant stuff. Well chuffed with that. Rafa shaking every fan's hand down the tunnel... Hero. Everyone was up for it- the players, the fans and the manager.

I was teasing...

Upon reflection/ a second viewing: Carra was boss. The desire was f**king quality, from the huddle to when he chased that ball down and won the corner- he really wanted it. I thought Kyrgiakos would struggle against Defoe/Crouch. I was wrong. Him and Skrtel were monsters back there. A great performance. Insua was decent, Lucas was decent, but it is great to have Javier back. An incredible player. Degen continues to surprise me with his actually lively performances! It was nice to see Riera out there, who offered us a natural left foot. Kuyt was amazing. He ran his arse off (as usual) and got two goals which he deserved (not as usual!).

And Aquilani at times was unplayable. What a footballer. It remains to be seen whther he will be out injured a lot, or if he can adapt to English football and all that jazz. But what a player. Cultured as f**k. And that back-heel...

Loved when 'Arry and the entire Spurs bench was talking to the 4th official. And Rafa went over there and was talking. Then, he looked at all the Spurs pricks and called Sammy over to join him. Hero. Shaking all the fans hands as he went down the tunnel. Hero. And the support... Spine-tingling. Great atmosphere.

There is a rumour that Benitez has ordered the Perennial strugglers Liverpool Groundsman to plant potatos in the centre circle at Anfield. That way Perennial strugglers Liverpool will have something they can lift at the end of the season

ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH

Very pleased with win. More desire than class and the two players that personify hard work & graft Carra & Kuyt had cracker games. David N'Gog put on a nice cameo, his turn and shot to force a brilliant save from Gomes was a particular highlight.

Reina hopefully close to a new contract- long term deal. Get him signed up. Absolute hero. What a man. What a keeper. Future captain, I say. Really love him!

Big game away at Wolves coming up. Stevie might be close to returning, which is good. We really need to keep winning!! Especially with Villa up against Arsenal... Come on Reds!

Yep huge game VS Wolves. Right back in the mix should we win. Anyone know anything about Jovanovic from Milan? Rumours have him not joining until next year anyway

Perennial strugglers Liverpool: Reina, Carragher, Insua, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos, Mascherano, Lucas, Gerrard, Riera, Maxi, Kuyt. Subs: Cavalieri, Aquilani, Babel, Ngog, Degen, Darby, Pacheco.

Harsh to see Aquilani on the bench as I thought he was quality against Spurs. Maxi gets a start... Yay! Be interesting to see how he plays. Stevie back in there too. Come on Reds!

Well... That wasn't pretty! 0-0 halftime. Started pretty well, and then went on to show Stoke how to play hoof ball. As much as I love Kuyt's running and hard work, I'm not a fan of Kuyt up front.

The Wolves fans are c**ts. Boo everything. Boo Reina for the last game at Anfield, where the officials didn't know what they were doing. Boo every obvious decision to go against them. Boo their team when they kick it out for Maxi when he is down, and then boo our team when we kick it out for one of their players! At least they're consistant, I suppose...

Yep, she's a pretty scrappy first half. Far too much hoofing the ball, it's like watching the A-League
They look good when they're stringing the close passes together. Would like to see Gerrard pick up the work rate a bit, I know it's his first game back but he and Kuyt need to work a bit better up front.

Sorry I was wrong. It's not frustrating at all, it's infuriating...

Spurs get 3 points too to jump ahead.

Gah. You could basically see the result after the first 15 minutes... Masch was immense and was the only one trying to make anything happen. Ngog did pretty well when he came on. Stevie was poor, although I doubt Aquilani would have done much better given the way we just hoofed it up there. Dull as dishwater and not what we needed.

Like after you beat man u earlier in the season, you follow up your good win over spurs with a poor result

Yeah! Figured I had better change my name now, with the rumours of Kun's departure... Besides, Torres is my real hero!

Yeah, it makes you wonder when everyone puts in sh*te performances like that! Kyrgiakos and Masch were the best. I love Reina, too bad the rest of the team isn't like him. The Wolves fans can get f**ked booing him.
