To be fair, who really wants to see Man Yoo do well? It's a legacy of your 20+ years of success. I wish we were hated for the same reason.

I remember Liverpool in the 70's and 80's. I don't 'hate' them, I just don't support them.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

I'll leave that up to you and the two or three Woolwich boys.

He hates Arsenal and we don't have the record of success that Liverpool had in the 70s/80s, and ManU had in the 90s/2000s, so his hate is driven by other reasons entirely.

Ha ha. Talking through you head again. I don't 'hate' Arsenal. I have no reason to.

You don't hate us, yet refer to us constantly as Woolwich. Only someone remarkably bitter would bother doing it enough to be recognized, but not every time as if it were by default.

Never seen an Arsenal fan (or anyone else) call your lot Newton Heath.

Three for me, and two for them.

Ah yes the Liverpool thread, home of the Utd v Arsenal rivalry.

The boys are gonna be pretty tired for sunday night having gone to pens just now. We really need something out of that game too to stay in the hunt for fourth. 3 games against teams above us over the next few weeks. Season defining stuff!

Haha charismatic potato?! Harsh!

Funny read but just asks questions without really answering any. Think the last paragraph sums it up. He's very easy to like with his enthusiasm etc but it's very easy also to think he's a pillock.

I'm a fan of his anyway.

No Gerrard, Hendo or Lucas. We're pretty physically weak through the middle without those boys. And now a short turnaround before Sharkty this weekend. Merrrrrrrr.

Penalty miss aside, Lovren was terrible. Where is the player we purchased?

Had such high hopes when he signed. Bring back Agger! I can hear Southampton laughing from here. Glad we got all the points last weekend!

I worked in a Chelski faithful pub 'The Worcester Park Tavern' in 2001 in London. Scariest 3 months of my life.

Staff wore blue shirts and the manager changed them to red...they soon got changed back.

One day he turned the Sky upstairs (which controlled the whole pub) over to watch Sunderland play instead of a Chelski game...they kicked his flat door in, changed the channel and set the remote on fire on the pool table.

They let me get away with being a Liverpool fan as I was a Kiwi 'so not a real fan' and just wanted to talk about if NZ needed scaffolders or plasterers. I also made the best cheese burgers in the area apparently.

for some reason, I found the bolded bit pretty funny.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite

Hilarious after the point, but at the time very scary watching a bunch of coked up Chelski fans lose their mind.

Some stupid rumours going around Twitter regarding Benitez.

1) He's not signing with Napoli as he already has a pre-contract signed with Liverpool as BR will be dumped regardless.

2) He's replacing Pellegrini at Citeh

Ha I'd be surprised if either of those moves transpire.

Alex Song's name has been popping up a bit of late......

Yup, that's some full on football porn right there. Xabi and Gerrard in the middle as well and Riise charging forward on the left. Magical stuff!

Would have loved to see Macherano in there somewhere as well. Interesting that Terry is involved.

Yeah and he called him the best defender he ever played with, whilst standing next to JC!

Brad Jones was Stevie's first pick!

...JC got him back by agreeing with SG that Xabi was also the best midfielder he'd played with.
