Heard that Stevie G may play and we'll see a mix of first team and b-side. These matches usually have some agreement about certain number of 1st team players playing

Hmmm reluctantly passing on this. Gonna try to get back to Anfield next season instead.

Heard the Stevie G rumour too, that would be pretty cool!

Think I'm in the same boat Groff. Can't quite justify the cost of the Sydney trip having seen the real thing at Anfield a few months ago. Will have to save my pennies to go towards another UK trip at some point! By the way, have to say that watching Arsenal slip up to Crystal Palace a few weeks before the end of the season felt eerily familiar. With United's fixture schedule between now and the end of the season I'm suddenly feeling a bit more optimistic.

What are everyone's thoughts on Sakho? Playing very well but would be surprised if he's back next season. Permanent move to Palace maybe? Feel dirty saying this but here's hoping for a Chelsea win this weekend!

Sakho's relationship with Klopp seems beyond repair so don't think we'll be seeing him again. His playing well for Palace means we're likely to get a decent fee though.

I wonder if something happened? He seems to have really annoyed Klopp

Another 'ugly' win. That miss from Moreno ? still, so good to get the three points

First win away against a Pulis managed team in the Premier League, crazy eh?!

Ugly wins is what we need to learn to do. Win beautiful when we can, win ugly when we need to. Mingolet has been great the last few games too.

For fudges sake. That was poor defending for the first goal, and truly atrocious defending for the second. And it had to be Benteke didn't it. I read he's now scored more goals at Anfield playing against Liverpool than playing for Liverpool.

Had a massive rant about this game to my girlfriend.

Her suggestion "Why don't you just support another team?"

Some people just don't get it.

Or some people are extremely insightful!

Lucas 10 years at the club. whilst a polarising player, you cannot question his dedication and commitment to our club.

Yeah I used to think if Lucas can play in the Premier League, maybe I've still got hope. Probably past it now ?

Hope the players enjoyed the party. Certainly didn't earn it after that sharkhouse showing.

I just saw the goal. Wow.

Not just an every day overhead kick... the angle of the incoming pass, what technique, most strikers couldn't do that.

Arsenal winning probably a good result for us huh. This race to the top 4 is pretty exciting
Permalink Permalink

Feels less like a race for the top four and more like a desperate scramble not to fudge it up. Any of City, United, Arsenal or us could be locked in by now if we'd won what should have been winnable games, but whenever there's a chance to tighten our grip on the top four we drop points. At this point it feels like a bit of a war of attrition. Still optimistic that we'll get there but we're not making it easy on ourselves!

Yep, pretty much that exactly. 2 wins and we're good, I'm not confident.
