Likewise, I am excited. Something like the last 4-3 epic would be nice.

I heard a rumour that the dust over the UK wasn't caused by the the volcano but that someone had mistakenly opened the tropy cabinet at Arsenal.

My joke in the Chelsea thread was better.

Three for me, and two for them.

Just outstanding.

What an night's action it was on Saturday. Thought we bossed City off the park without creating too many chances, Scholes and Fletcher were all over their midfield, and Vidic dealt with Adebayor suberbly. Evans was too good for Tevez, who was utter rubbish in my opinion. Was frustrating obviously until Scholesy popped up in the last minute, great ball from Patty, and a terrific result.

Then getting up to watch Spurs beat Chelsea was terrific, both in that put us right back in contention and also it knocked City out of 4th, and Spurs were as good as Chelsea were bollocks. I hope Tottenham can back the Arse over City this weekend at the Emirates so we can get the three points off them.

Backing Stoke to get a 0-0 or 1-1 at the Bridge.

Ferguson said, according to 'The Sun' (it is rather crap source of information, I know), that next season is his last in charge of Man Utd.

I've heard that as well. I suppose he wants another crack at a European trophy, but I always thought if we won the league this year he would call it a day, now he's ahead of Perennial strugglers Liverpool. Not a lot else he can do really, the man has won anything and everything.

Still think Mourinho will take over. Masterminded a 3-1 advantage over Barca in the ECL this morning. 10 mins left.

United wins Northern Reserve league. Good job boys.

Agree about Mourinho I think he's a great manager and will only get a better and stronger team with time. Michael2010-04-21 17:41:12

WARNING!!!!

As kingmakers- we very  may very well towel you up tomorrow night and hand the EPL to those  mincers.

on the other hand...we may very well lose to you lot and therefoe ensure the righteous win the league.

either way,the mighty Tottenham will go down in history when the dust settles along with a CL spot as icing.

Midnite tomorrow night folks- don't miss it.

He said in a newspaper in 2008 after the CL final that he would stay for two more seasons, three at the very very very very most. And that he wouldn't manage once he hit 70.

well well its all a bit crazy innit! cmon the scousers this weekend is all i can say! (ouch)

f*ck them and thier 7-0... the only way it can come down to goal difference now is if Perennial strugglers Liverpool win this weekend then we draw with stoke and they beat wigan next weekend....hmm sems a little unlikely that things would go that way but stranger things have happened i guess.

anyway.....

Take a bow Wayne Rooney PFA players player of the year

Here's a picture of our new strip for next season. Changing sponsors to Aon, an insurance company. This could be a fake but it is making the rounds on the net.

Not a huge fan of those. Dont like the white detail on the sleeves and the white collar on the home kits and the detail on the away strip. This seasons kit really grew on me and I think one of the best Man Utd kits in recent times.

No the away strip is not doing it for me. I like the home strip, though the red needs to be a bit darker.

Some really interesting stats on Nani:

United in 2009/10

With Nani (32 games)

Won: 25 (78%)
Drawn: 4 (12.5%)
Lost: 3 (9.5%)
Goals for: 71 (2.21 per game)

Without Nani (22 games)

Won: 13 (59%)
Drawn: 1 (4.5%)
Lost: 8 (36.5%)
Goals for: 43 (1.95 per game)

He has really been a lot more consistent this year.

Also think red could be a bit darker. Maybe it looks different live. Away is okeyish, but always preffered the black ones for away kit.
