Two over-rated donkeys.  Lucky you.

Actually, probably harsh on Rooney, he's not sh*t for United.  Fabiano.  Meh.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Anyone but Berbatard at moment would be great

I'd rather Berba. Fab would probably do a Robinho and bugger off.

New kit unveiled on the 15th.

Here's the two leaked ones that are doing the rounds on the internet...

I like the home kit. The other one looks crap.

that home shirt looks straight out of the mid 90s

If our goalkeeping kit is the one that has been floating round the internet then no-one will score against us because opposition strikers will be too busy vomiting at the sight of it.

It's awful.

The red home kit is sweet though.

Not really, I think stoning is bad so I guess it evens itself out somehow.

Interesting to see that season tickets for the "Theatre of Dreams" are currently on open sale. Looks like the back lash towards the Gla**rs & the increase by a third in the cost of ticket prices has really hit hard. Cheapest adult ST price is over 600 quid! Makes the Phoenix prices look like a bargain.

We're the WELLINGTON Phoenix

And this is our Home

wtf how can you possibly have season tickets on open sale?
Arsenal still have a waiting list in the order of 20k, and ours are the most expensive in the league.
Im skeptical.

20min to go in the Man Utd v MLS All Stars and currently 4-1. Seen 3 of the the 4 goals and I missed more than an hour of the game. First goal 22sec in, Macheda pouncing on a poor back pass and calmly slotting the ball past the keeper, 3rd goal an awesome Gibson free-kick and the 4th was another great goal from Cleverly, good control and chip over the defender and then side foot volley past the keeper.

5th, and first for Man Utd, scored by Chicharito. Good pace to break the offside trap and composure to lob the keeper.

5-2 final score. Soft defending lets Rossario score, MLS also almost score another with a long shot beat VDS but not the post.

From the ~30min I saw, Man Utd lacked a bit of composure in possession. Tried to play very quickly from back to front, still along the ground, but the speed of their play resulted in a drop in completed passes.

Some of those young guys are remarkably talented though, and look like they play really well together. Rafael, Macheda, Hernandez, Cleverley and Fabio all look the goods - really bodes well.

Opposition wasn't much but it was a good hit out. Enjoyed the match.

3-1 - the first trophy of the season. Didn't get up for it myself, but saw the highlights this morning.

Chicarito scored again (he could be a massive player for us) - thouigh he the goal was strange, he went to finish with his foot and smacked the ball into his face and it then rebounded in. As long as they go in I don't care.

Looks like Ozil might be staying at Bremen another season - potentially a free transfer next summer to replace Scholes?

Oezil ("Oe" if there is no umlaut) is not a direct replacement for Scholes. I feel he is best used as an attacking midfielder (almost a support striker), rather than Scholes's current position of a deep lying playmaker. He doesnt have the best work rate with out the ball and is best used further forward as he makes really intelligent runs. Oezil would most likely put someone like Park on the bench with a Fletcher/Carrick/Gibson/? midfield combo behind Oezil.

Well this is true - I suppose I was thinking Scholes over his entire career rather than the last few years.

I tried to get my computer to chuck an umlaut on the O but it failed.

I think Oezil is a fantastic player, though if the game isnt going your way he is a bit of a luxury and probably better having a harder working player like Park. Would really like him to join Man Utd.

I am hoping that Cleverly gets some game time for us. He supposedly played very well on loan at Watford last season and has always impressed in friendlies.

New signing

7.4million on an unknown striker/attacking midfielder from Portugal. After previously playing in the Portuguese 3rd division was signed this summer by Vitoria and a few weeks later Man Utd use his buy out clause on his 5 year contract at Vitoria.

Owen, Macheda, Berbatov, Rooney, Chicarito and now Bebe. Wellbeck looks like going on loan to Sunderland, Diouf is on loan at Blackburn and King is on loan at Preston. Bullion2010-08-12 10:29:41

Looking forward to the league kicking off again this weekend - seems like forever! World cup is good and all but id much rather watch league games than world cup games tbh

It certainly looks very nice on screen.

Cruisey game this morning, Rooney trying to hard. Giggs keeping his record of scoring in every premier league season going. Great!

So Rooney tries too hard and Berb doesn't try hard enough. United fans sure are hard to please.

Three for me, and two for them.
