Surely Lindegaard doesn't need his own thread? I'd be disappointed if we werelinked with Lloris, Neuer, de Gea etc and then got Lindegaard as number one. I reckon we NEED de Gea before Chelsea, Barca or Real get him. If we got de Gea then you'd have to say we'd have one of the best number twos in the world considering he's ahead of another starting premier league keeper as the number one for Denmark.

Agreed.

Keep your dirty fking hands off De Gea. He's staying at Atleti.

Great way to wake up. I see the headline on espn Soccernet: "Chelsea sink to another loss" then i see arsenal lose to finally get to the united result. 2-0. great. If we keep the unbeaten run going the league is ours because i think Chelsea have some problems and arsenal are looking inconsistent.

Disagree. We are consistently losing at home to teams we would normally beat.

Yeah the game wasn't that pretty, but we got the three points which is all that matters. Very happy this morning with the other top two losing. Rooney looked reasonably sharp when he came on.

Makes up for that dreadful Phoenix result.

Yeah Lindgaard may be more of a replacement for Kusczcak, who I think wants more football elsewhere. Then someone like De Gea can be the number one, at least from the outset.

Certainly won't be disappointed if he is number one and performs - I'm not going to judge a player until they've actually played for us.

Good day for United with Chelsea and Arsenal both losing. I think Rafael had a great game and has surely established himself as our first choice right back.

This is the first time this season when we have actually capitalized from other slip ups. Excellent! Joint top and undefeated and playing pretty average.....wonder what itll be like when the performances start to improve..?? What a thought!

Both goals were good, but was especially impressed with Cicha's. That boy can get his head onto just about any ball into the box.

Happy to see Wazza back on board, hopefully wont take him too long to find his form again. And with the games coming thick and fast theres plenty of opportunity for him.

I get excited when I look at the league table. We are joint top without playing well at all, and we've had Rooney, Giggs, Valencia, Ando, Rio, Hargreaves all injured. With Rooney coming back, exciting times lie ahead . . . potentially.

Two goals to Ifill last night and one to Rooney this morning.

We are top of the league, we are top of the league!

Berba was stunning yesterday, that's all that needs to be said about that.

Just drew Liverpool in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup. At home.

So, who do you want to play in the fourth round?
Permalink Permalink

Blackburn at home would be all right - if history repeats itself Berba could have 8 cup goals in two rounds!

over 15 years ago · edited about 5 years ago · History
He'd have more than 3 against us at the moment.

Hodgson 'sad' over United draw

Hodgson said: "It will be an excellent game of football but it's a bit unfortunate that two Premier League teams of the quality of Manchester United and Liverpool get drawn together in the third round. I always feel that's a bit sad."

Whos he kidding?

I guess if your going to lose your unbeaten start to the season, may as well do it in style...

Saw the start but had to go to work. Wife rang me and said Utd were awful. Replay in 45min, so will watch that as the Nix are on straight after.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Not taking anything away from WH, they deserved to win.
Utd's passing was a bad as I have seen it. It was mostly a 2nd X1 but that is no excuse and WH would have done their club proud on the day regardless who they were playing.

The injury that Hargreaves sustained in the 6 minutes against Wolves will see him out for 6-8 weeks. Complete tear of the hamstring.
