I thought Berba was very impressive. Nani unfortunately back to his inconsistent best, a lot of talk about Joe Cole signing in the off-season so maybe Nani's time is up.
Keeping the pressue on the other two, we hold a bit of an advantage I think. That trip to City looks like a pretty big match.

Was a tough game, especially the first half. Fulham are very good at doing what their manager tells them to do, its pretty impressive to watch. The first goal definitely came at a great time. Im running out of compliments for Roon this season! Berba needs to get his head up and back himself - he's looked very fragile and confidence shot last few months which is a shame. Nani can happily do-one in the summer and Joe cole would be a nice welcome addition to replace him!
Huge games coming up in the next couple of weeks or so, Perennial strugglers Liverpool at home bolton away the chelsea at home. Make or break time! Also champ's league 1/4 final draw on friday :)

United kiosk worker sacked for wearing green and gold scarf at Old Trafford Club says worker refused to follow 'strict uniform policy' Players and MUTV banned from discussing dissent
(38)Owen Gibson guardian.co.uk, Monday 15 March 2010
A student working part-time in an Old Trafford catering kiosk has become the latest individual connected with Manchester United to claim he has felt the strength of the club's backlash against protests targeting the Glazers.
Jerry Vyse, a first-year anthropology student at Manchester University, said he bought a green and gold scarf outside the ground and wore it during his half-time shift at last week's Champions League match against Milan only to be sacked when he refused to remove it.
He said that supporters stocking up on half-time pies and Bovril cheered his stance and booed when his supervisor put the queue on hold and asked him to leave the kiosk, marching him to the office of the catering manager.
"I turned to the supervisor and asked him why I could not continue doing my job," Vyse told Student Direct, the Manchester University newspaper and website. "He said it was not because I was wearing a scarf because, if it had been a different colour, he would not have minded.
"MUFC will no doubt state that the decision was based on uniform policy what he told me surely refutes that. He said it was because it was 'anti-Glazer'. Does it not sniff a little bit like a dictatorship if not even the smallest of dissents can be made about an incredibly rich man who has more or less taken over the club?"
The Champions League tie was largely seen as a triumph for the protesters targeting the Glazers and supporting a potential takeover bid from the self-styled Red Knights, with David Beckham donning a green and gold scarf as he left the pitch following loud protests during the game.
In an attempt to quell the dissent United have banned players from discussing the campaign, forbidden the inhouse TV channel MUTV from mentioning it and sacked a steward after 19 years' service for attempting to return an anti-Glazer banner to its owners.
A spokesman for United said that Vyse did not comply with the club's uniform policy and refused to remove the scarf when asked.
United's chief executive, David Gill, today again defended the club's business model as he unveiled its latest overseas sponsorship deal, with Turkish Airlines. "People presuppose we have financial problems," he said. "We do not believe that is the correct situation. We are very comfortable and we have a sensible business strategy that will continue for many years to come." The Glazers have hugely increased the club's commercial revenues and plan to agressively target further expansion in overseas markets."We have 333 million followers and yesterday we celebrated 100 years at this great stadium," said Gill.
"Our history and heritage means we can bring a lot to the table. There is also a professionalism about us, so, whilst we are in an economic downturn, there are still many successful companies in the world who are investing in the future. We are one of the quality partners big entities can still associate with."

Oi! Red Devils. Much as I have a soft spot for Scousers be they reds or toffees, I'm banking on you spanking them tomorrow.
1. Keeps them out of 4th spot contention for another couple of games
2. Allows you to claim another spot 3 above ours (thereby displacing another team that wears red - a colour which I really dislike)
Win-Win for both sides.
You also need to do something about those upstart neighbours of yours.

Great stuff this morning. Fletch was outstanding, so was Park, really bustled around and caused problems. With Blackburn drawing we are another step closer, could do with Arsenal dropping points at some point, but if we win our remaining 7 games we will be champions.

Nice piece of football from both sides. Fletcher should get red in this situation from around 65th minute (small 'dissagreement' with D.Kuyt). Reminds me of D.Beckham being sent off against Argentina a while ago :).
Yeah but the Penalty should've seen Perennial strugglers Liverpool go to ten men as well.

Yes Fletcher was lucky.

...As Long As If Don't Effect Him In The WC, I'll Cry If He Picks Up An Injury Before Hand.
The thing is - how much would he be strained in the league campaign. Man Utd has to battle for the title in the EPL and in UEFA Champions LEague, and it may affect his form and health for WC. What he needs now is a proper rest to get back to his proper shape - and no chance for that in the situation Man Utd is now.

No there's not. It's going to be a case of management, the problem is that there is no end to it really, with the World Cup being where he would usually have the summer off. By that stage, it might be a serious issue.
He's such a key player, especially without Owen we would only have Berba up front, with a returning from injury Macheda.

surely you fellas cant be relying on macheda as a frontline striker? he made an impact last season but hes still very young and inexperienced, looks like he'll need a cupla years on the fringes yet?
That diouf fella looks a talent too

Well Kiko's been out injured so who knows how he would go, SAF has a policy of if they're good enough they're in. I did forget about Diouf though. Welbeck's out for the season.
I'm not sure how Berba would go up front on his own though, maybe all right with Park doing all the work.
Just Rooney not get injured, then we will be fine!

Yeah, will need someone with pace to play off Berba. I would imagine SAF would entrust Park to do this as he works hard and is tactically astute. I am not sure if there are other youngsters in the reserves like King (from reports sounds quick) who might get a go. Yet to be impressed with Diouf but he has time on his side.

Well Roo's been included in the squad and apparently has no issue according to SAF.
I suppose there's nothing to say that it was coz of his knee that he limped away from old trafford after the Perennial strugglers Liverpool game, could have been any number of reasons!
Bolton always has the potential to throw a little spanner in the works, itll be a tough game but im confident.

They sure did, they've lost their last two games 2-1 actually I think, and are off the top of the Bundesliga. Robben and Ribery are the two dangermen of course, though Robben is in doubt.
Thought we did very well yesterday without Rooney, we certainly were put under pressure after the own goal and VDS made a couple of ripping saves.
With the Arse drawing if we can beat Chelsea on Saturday night then we can afford to drop points at Eastlands (not at all what I want, but we can) and still have a gap at the top of the league.
Come on the lads!

I would presume the scheduling will be OK, with daylight savings ending it will only take an hour of time and it looks like that is there between 12 and 1am Sunday morning. I know it is the Saturday lunchtime kick-off over there.
I'm thinking about the Bayern game at this stage. Going to be great.
