Thought of you this morning, LG. As I drove into work, a Mercedes came onto the motorway in front of me with the number plate "GO QPR" Jag2009-09-29 13:46:09

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

You sure it wasn't a Renault with a few dents and scratches on it?

Ha Ha! Nah, definitely a Merc. Very nice too. I was shocked.

Only dodgy Kingz/Knights fans drive Renaults, don't they

Shocked because the Merc was nice or that it was a nice car with QPR number plates?

Wouldn't know about your last question as I:

a) am not dodgy (but open to suggestions)
b) have never been a fan of an Akld team (of any code)
c) don't drive a Renault.

However as a combination that does seem to be three of the worst qualities you could expect!

(I have a clapped out Opel Vectra so maybe I shouldn't be throwing stones)

Ah - so (l Campbell) do the above qualities described by Jag fit the owner of the above vehicle?

(If nothing else, it means that the owner has no shame!!)

Former owner.  Last time I spoke to the man in question it looked like having a new home.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Some fairly positive match reports from our recent games. Dare we believe that we are finally coming into some form? I guess we'll know tomorrow after the N'castle clash.

1-1 and we had 51% and heaps more corners. There for the taking but we muffed it. So did they with their penalty.

I'm certainly not disappointed ina draw. Shows the Rs are up there in the top 5 championship sides imo. Who this season have come away with a point @ Newcastle? Great effort. Now they just need to keep this good form going. Start by beating Sousa's Swansea on Saturday ;) welly_phoenix2009-10-01 22:29:24

Excellent win at home vs Preston 4-0.
Supposedly Taarabt's goal was a real screamer of an effort. 25 yards out.
over 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Yep, was listening to the game. Taarabt, Buzsacky (pen), Jay Simpson & Wayne Routledge scored. oh and Ed Harris was promoted yp from the youth team for the game. Must be pretty damn good. Should have been 4-0 by half time. Routledge unlucky not to have scored two by then and Buz with another 25 yard special that just missed the post. Roulege scored the last goal and that was a long range effort too. Can't wait to see the video clip.

And what about Simpson..I hear they are keen to snap him up in January too.

I reckon with Routledge, Taarabt and Simpson in the side, the Rs are going to be tough to stop :)

4-2 after 2-0 down, now in 6th place and a game in hand (Crystal Palace at Loftus Road) that could get us up to 2nd. 5-2, 4-0, 4-1, 4-2. Wish the Nix would hit that sort of form. Lonegunmen2009-10-25 14:24:02

Just watched the goals from the Derby County game and highlights. Taarabt scored an awesome freekick, bending the ball around the side of the wall. Massive curve on it.

dodgy keeper dodgy keeper-  sorry L.G but it was a  shocker from your keeper to gift Leicester their 2nd goal

Taarabt was kept quiet in the 2nd half, he was a real handful in the first half good goal and some nice footwork

Shame it ends your unbeaten run at home

Absolute crap performance, my first "live" TV game of the season and what crap. Makes the A League look like the EPL to be honest.

The midfield had two new players on show, Casper and Spooky.

Come January here's my list of transfer candidates. Cerny, Stewart, Borrowdale, Ramage, Leigertwood, Faurlin....

Need to get back on those rails and beat Palace in the midweek game or else the Top 6 will simply slip away. Rs have the talent. I agree that need to get rid of the dead wood in January but certainly have enough there to make the playoffs. I reckon they went in with the wrong attitude on Saturday. They had been coasting easy for the last month or so. Too easy. Hopefully a timely wake up call.

Haven't seen the game but also reading that Leicester really got in the Rs faces, gave me F*** all room to move. Teams will be taking note.

Leicester weren't that great to be honest. We were just pathetic. Leicester will fall away as the season progresses. Palace on Wed morning, will listen to it and then cruise into town for the Nix match.

18th Minute, QPR 1 Buzsaky pen, Cystal Palace 0

1-1 Second dubious penalty of the game. Neither should have been given according to the radio commentator.

game came alive in the 70th minute.

Puts us in 6th place.

4th. Simpson and Gorkss win it at Sheffield Wednesday. Phew, could promotion really be a possibility and not a dream? Lonegunmen2009-11-08 20:44:45

Smashed by 5-1 at home by Boro. This better be a wake up call for everyone. We'll see vs Watford, I guess.
Hope management have some defenders in sight for Jan transfer window.

Who r ya..............comment in peace.  I was stunned when I opened up teamtalk on Sunday.  Not sure where that one came from.. I gather you had injuries and players playing out of position.  Just about to view the goals on MyBoro mfc link I pay $11 per month for for video coverage.

Given our home form u will do it to us...

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

1 tansfer out Hall, Stewart, Helguson, Vine, Agyemang (despite scoring our goal), Borrowdale, Cerny, Leigertwood, Pellicore, Williams. (Rowlands and Cooke are long term injured & injured far too often)

2 transfer in, 1 LB, 1RB, 2 CD (preferably one that can play along the back line.) 3 strikers of proven ability.

3 permanently sign Simpson from the Gunners, Taarabt from Spurs, Watson from Wigan.

If we are serious about trying for promotion. Oddly enough, QPR had the first 20 minutes of the game too. Still, well done Boro.
