Word is that Briatore is looking to sell up and had some Americans with him in the Directors Box the other day. Will the Mattels stand up to be counted? They have the very serious money. Will Paladini continue to defy logic and survive yet again? Paladini is surely Captain Scarlett in disguise. The c**t continues to drag the club down with some of the worst dealings in the transfer market. No one seems to know what it is that he really does other than help get rid of Managers. Not bad for a reported 140k (Sterling) per year.

2-2 at Blackpool

Been pretty quiet on this thread lately. Perhaps we are all still in stunned disbelief at what a shambles this season is turning into. Ron Norris's latest report on qprnet.com sums the present situation up quite accurately.

I've been flat out modding on QPR Reports MB. A certain group of fans have been jumping in an dstirring up all kind of crap.

Paladini get out and take a few others with you from the club, uncluding those there just to grab the cash.

I'm beginning to think we won't be in the Premiership next season after all!

rumour started was Paladini resigned but it's all sh*t trying to build up fan moral. it sadly is not going to happen until he has bled as much money out of the club as he can grab. He's the sort of guy one would wish to find a place at Man U or Chelsea....Then again, perhaps not, not even they deserve him.

Neil Warnock confirmed as the new manager. Sorry but I don't find that particularly inspiring.

Neither do I. The players will of course perform well so they dont get dropped by the new manager and then returned to business as usual and sub performances.

Safe at last, Beat Twatford 1-0 and now in 14th, 1 point behind HN's beloved Ipswich. Hopefully both teams going for promotion next season. Lonegunmen2010-04-21 17:15:16

Just thankful that we seem to have finished the season with some semblance of stability. Won't hold my breath though.
Warnock is growing on me. It will be interesting to see how he sorts the squad out during the close season.

How are you finding " A Kick Up the Rs" LGM? I'm so glad I resubscribed. A real quality fanzine.

And a bit disappointing for us having bought this past seasons's jerseys aye LG?
almost 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Not at all, I'd have the jersey more than next seasons any day. Personally, I'd like us to go back to the admiral jersey from 74-75 season. My next jersey purchase will either be a retro later this year or new design in a couple of years depending if they look any good.

Oh and I am currently re-doing the website layout, so keep a tab on it in about a weeks time. Gonna have a lot more Nix photos and All Whites photos not seen by anyone other than me. Ricki and some of the AW players have seen some but not all of them.

As well as a Daniel collection and of course some QPR ones not previously seen and I thought I had lost about 20 years ago, recently rediscovered and scanned.

Great to see Ian Holloway having a great finish to the season. Championship Final, Blackpool vs Cardiff, Sky Sport 2, 1.55am. May take a peek now that I know there's a QPR connection.

If only..............................

And I agree, the new QPR kit is awful. What were they thinking? Still I suppose it could have been pink like that terrible Partick Thistle one from last(?) season.
Retro has potential.

Summer signings not exactly exciting but they better tie up Faurlin to a 5 year deal - air tight before the italian and Spanish clubs come sniffing. I hear they are already having a nosey.

What the.......? I don't follow things for a short while and next I know we've signed Taarabt, we've signed a number of others I've never heard of, we've won our first 2 Championship games (including away to the Blades!), scored 7 and conceded none (and that with Fritz Hall in our defence)!!!!!! Alright we did lose to Port Vale in the cup but still it is all rather too good to be true!!

Good news. Hall has tweaked his hammy. that means Gorkss will be with either ramage or Connolly. Phew. WTF is Warnock on with making Hall Captain??

Enjoy it LG!

Do you think your squad can keep the pace up for the whole season? It would be good to have QPR back up in the top flight next season.

Actually this squad is quite good. Neil Warnock was given an almost free run for get players in. We finally got Smith from Portsmouth now too and Hulse. Fingers crossed but QPR and the months of Nove & Dec seem to dislike each other and we fare badly.

To be honest though, to any Ipswich fans, We thought this really would be our strongest test yet and were quite surprised at this result.

Now all QPR fans hope you bounce back and doof Cardiff City 5-0 this weekend, whilst we visit Leicester.

QPR win 2-0 at Leicester - Jamie Mackie 2 more! The dork of a ref plays 7 minutes of injury time. Even the commentators from 94.5fm called him a burke on air!

We stay first and Ipswich (Bless them) go to 2nd as they f**k over Cardiff City 2-0. You beauties !!

Looking great so far and I have a mate who supports Cardiff and was predicting they'd be 5 points above the R's by now.  LG - I'll be in London from 5 October for a wedding - jersey orders welcome

Not this seasons tops, they suck! but I'll check the club shop for anything else and get back to you.

Bring on Doncaster. Actually word around the various MB's are that fans are enjoying the moment but not getting carried away - been made to look stupid too often in the past. Mackie & Walker made Championship team of the week.

Cyrstal Palace for the drop this season?

No, I dont think they will. Although I hope we take the 6 points against them, I think they will come right by November. That Cardiff result was a good one for Palace.

Yet another late winner!! Amazing what a bit of stability and a manager who knows what he wants and is hard-nosed enough to get it can do. Goal difference of +21!!!!! Pinch me - I must be dreaming!
