Even the Spanish F side would be too good for you I suspect.

Settle down. While Scots clubs have been going downhill for years, the current Scotland national team isn't too bad.

True. I'm a Falkirk fan, seems there are 3 categories of teams in the 1st div, 1) teams with no money who sell all their good players, 2) teams with no money who spent heaps and get put in administration and 3) very average teams

In the last year Dundee seem to have gone from 2, to 1, and now around 3.

It's awful.

Three for me, and two for them.

Buff's pretty much nailed it. Sadly.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Na, sorry, don't buy it. While I wouldn't expect Scotland to beat the best team in the world Spain - Scotland is perfectly able to compete with top teams.

When is the last time Scotland beat one of these so called 'top' teams then? France in 07 perhaps?

You are below average at best, and that is generous.

Three for me, and two for them.

Scotland's inability to qualify for a major tournament since 1998 would suggest otherwise.

Any Celtic fans seen a lot of this Islam Feruz kid we have just signed? Only 16 but apparently a very highly rated talent.

I know a Celtic fan who was very enraged, as they brought his whole family over from Africa or something. But thats football I spose

Unbelievable! The mighty Ayrshire Killie are 3-0 up, at half-time, against shambolic Shellick.

Mon the Killie!

Couldn't quite hold on but always nice to see the Ugly Sisters lose points.

Neil Lennon has to be the worst Selic manager in a couple of decades. How does he keep his job when he can't get close in a two horse race where the other horse only has 3 legs?!?!

'Mon the Hearts!!!

How old is Leggy?  Is he 12 or 72?

Watch out for Leigh Griffiths on loan to Hibs at the moment and scored two last night for them. Was sensational in Div 1 for Dundee, then went to Wolves when club went belly up. 21 year old pacey wee striker who scored some crackers could be one for the future...

Cool. That should set me up with some good banter opportunities

Last time I saw Hibs win the 1st Div was at Firhill (albeit v Hamilton) - quite happy to see us humping the Jags there to win promotion if we were relegated again!

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

Gutted to only draw after being 3-0 up with 20 mins to go.

At least we managed to hold on for a win against the huns last weekend!
Killie 1-0 Rangers

After the game Killie coach Kenny Shiels had a go at glory hunting Old Firm fans that refuse to support their local teams. Legend!

Great start to the morning seeing Dundee won 6-1!!! What the heck is up with Ross County going ballistic in Div 1 though? They're on fire. Already talking about stadium upgrades to get into SPL next season. Though many a team has crumbed from being well ahead in Div 1 before...

Celtic have gone ahead away to Udinese. This looks like it may well end up with some predictable scottish hope and heartbreak!

HAHAHAHA!
15 Points behind we were, now we're ahead and they go into administration.
What a season.

So Castle Grey Skull becomes an apartment block ,where does that leave the rest of Scottish football particularly Celtic ,despite the loathing for each other it will surely impact on Shelics income stream ?
Just looking for a bit of objectivity and debate here .
I'm like just about every other non Hun Scottish supporter at the moment  revelling in the schadenfreude (that's not an alternative to Buckfast) ,but there has to be some serious questions asked as well !

Here's a nice wee quote from a Glasgow Herald reader
 "
"Well at least the pub conversations will be a bit more interesting of a Saturday night as the beer swilling masses discuss the finer points of Scottish company law and the merits or consequences of administation or insovency. Will make a change from "was it" "wasn't it" offside debates or arguments over wee cheatin' bams diving in the box"

Can't understand why any real football supporter would be happy to see any team in financial strife.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

You aren't from Glasgow are you? Or Scotland for that matter? If you were, you'd understand.

No sympathy from me, and I support a club who gets by on the smell of an oily rag, whose entire squad is worth less than the weekly wages of one of the Rangers squad. Why should I shed any tears for a club who have obviously been spectacularly mismanaged.

As for being a "real" football supporter? I'm not gonna list my 'qualifications' but I think I've done enough over the years to consider myself as a "real" football supporter.

Rangers can count themselves lucky they didn't cop what Gretna did.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

No one honestly thought Rangers would "do a Gretna" did they?

Celtic cannot exist without Rangers, and vice versa. If Rangers went, Celtic would follow, which would probably be the best thing to happen to Scottish football in forever. But the chances of the SFA allowing their marquee clubs to go down the pan? Zero.

Three for me, and two for them.

The fact is that they have been around longer than even Arsenal.I'm not into the politics etc. I was just making a point that it is sad to see any team in trouble.
It is certainly not good for the game.

Prudent.  You may be needing that position in a few years.

Suppose it's how you define a real football supporter , someone who likes football the game or someone who   uses football as a convenient vehicle for sectariansim and vile historic hatred  !
Scottish football without one or both the ugly sisters ?who knows how refreshing that could be ,especially in a newly independant country trying to build a modern future for itself free from all that rubbbish !
