Yeah I think Jack to a certain extent has broken through but just seems like he'll never be able to stay fit for a long period. Ox seems to break down every time it looks like he's just about to explode.

@Arsenal I can't find your details in my emails, if you're still in London I've got a spare ticket to Wembley tomorrow night for England vs Switzerland if you're keen? Offer's open to anyone else who is in London & keen!

Seems to be something wrong with English genes.

Courtois apparently out for another 2 months. Could have done with Cech this season.

Martinez - I had no idea he was so bluddy big!!  Make's Ospina look about 5 ft 1!

How old is Leggy?  Is he 12 or 72?

I don't think that is Martinez. Cech is taller than him and I don't think that's his face either, although it would make sense that he's the 3rd keeper. He is off on loan though. Might be one of the academy keepers. Looking at the academy keepers on arsenal.com it looks like it could be Matt Macey and google reveals he is taller than Cech.

Have only seen highlights but I loved Kosc's shot. Theo & Giroud both seemed to spurn a few chances, while Alexis can't seem to buy a goal between the woodwork & keepers efforts.

Nice to see Arteta back on the pitch towards the ends, and that Paulista is pissing players off.

Excellent performance all over the pitch.

Finishing was lacking at times, but at least this time we did get the goals.

Many players had good games.

Pretty much a carbon copy of the Newcastle game. Absolutely bossed them all over the park, just couldn't finish more chances to make it even more comfortable.

Starting to feel a lot more confident in our back four too.

Three for me, and two for them.

We had about a billion chances; Walcott spurned a few bad ones but it was a great first touch for his goal.

Giroud spurned one easy one too.

The rest were mostly good saves or bad luck - Sanchez hitting he post twice in the first 5 mins or so etc.

I hope wally doesn't make a habit of missing chances in the box. He could easily be top goal scorer if he put in half the chances hes been getting.

I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

I don't think he ever will be. That boat has sailed for me. Theo simply isn't good enough as a striker.

could go a month of 0-1-2 goal games. Then , sure as eggs, we will put 8-10 past some poor sods.

Frustrating game, was sure they were going to get a corner and equalise late before we got the second. Anyone else have trouble with PLP for this? Was watching about 9am this morning and it was unwatchable on Chrome (my usual browser). Best way to describe it was like flicking through a flipbook in slow motion. Switched to Firefox and it was slightly better but still pretty poor throughout the first half and got a bit more stable in the second half. Worst it's been for ages.

Contrary to popular belief Walcott's finishing is usually one of his stronger points, these misses have been uncharacteristic of him. He needs to be putting away the rebounds and tap-ins. Thankfully it didn't cost us yesterday.

Also surprising to read he has 11 goals in his last 11 league starts.

There was so much to like about our performance. Gabriel now being hailed as the new Keown, I love that.

Coquelin is going from strength to strength. Seriously with him, Gabriel and Koscielny set up as that triangle in the middle, you better have your wits about you when you have the ball or you gonna get smashed! The three of them are so fast and so aggressive, I fear some card trouble in the odd game but they make an awesome unit.

The first goal was a thing of beauty. Tackle, pass, goal. 60 metres, 2 seconds. Just about the first time Stoke got out of their half too. Reminiscent of our style in the early 2000s.

Also, Özil's chance creation is unreal. We just need to finish more of them...

Yeah the Arshavin effect. If the players they supply actually kick the ball in the fudgeing goal we would hear nothing of "tired, lazy, soft, not suited to EPL" and a lot of record transfer was well spent for 20 assist/ season man.

Do I carry  grudge, do I ?

Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia on Thursday morn. They are unbeaten in their domestic league at home since 2010, so will be a challenge.

Then short turnaround to early kickoff on Saturday against Chelsea. They have a short turnaround as well but they are at home to Maccabi on Thurs so not quite the same...

Then right after that we have Spurs midweek in the League Cup, then Leicester in the league, then Olympiakos mid-week, then ManU at home before the next international break.

Perhaps our most packed group of fixtures for the season. Very tough.

Except that Arshavin was genuinely lazy.

Got the data to back that up? KM's run against team average etc?

It's just ridiculous really. Feeling like he's about to become Diaby 2.0

He's probably done as a top level player now. Yet another season pretty much gone.

Dinamo Zagreb followed by Chelsea is tough with the very short turn around, really really really hoping we beat chelsea. Getting wins without Alexis scoring yet is all good in my books as you know he will start banging them in.

Hard to laugh at Mourinho and Chelsea until after we play them. You just know we'll kick start their season however.

Apparently he's created something like 76 goal scoring opportunities in our league fixtures this season.  That is unreal.
