Interesting Foal, I would have started Walcott for his finishing he has over Ox, he has a much better track record in that department. Hopefully this point is moot as Sanchez starts for both of them!

Unsure, it was played down as being minor, so who know's.
With Cesc out for Chelsea could this be a chance to gain some ground? It's an 11 point gap we would need to overhaul including a game against them to come.
I would argue we should be seeking to push on, 3rd place minimum with at least a run in the ECL, and probably retaining the FA Cup.
Agree, 3rd place is definitely there for the taking if we can maintain some consistancy
Cocks have strung together some results so important they are put right in their place this weekend.
Would be tempted to start Rosicky.

Any thoughts on Wilshere lads, couple of seasons ago he was pretty locked in to be our future captain. Injuries havnt helped him but i dont think anyone would pick him in our best starting 11.
ps Is Diaby still alive?
go gunners
I'm pretty sure Diaby has become a weekend at Ernies situation.
RE Wilshere, I'd say he has a role to play, but it might be a bit part one if he can't string more than 10 games a season together.
RE Cesc, I'd argue that had Cazorla had Costa in front of him it would be more of a fair fight ;)
Wilshere has recently been caught up with another photo of him smoking a shisha pipe while he has been injured so I don't imagine Wenger will be too keen on him at the moment. On a separate note, if Coquelin keeps playing the way he is I hope Arteta and Flamini don't replace him when they come back.
Nothing beats derby week against the yids and another chance to put them in their place. I don't care who plays, how we play, as long as they play for the shirt and beat the scum.
Since the last time the yids won the league, we have won it at their sh*thole twice. We have won the league at their sh*thole as many times as they have won the league. Henry never lost against them, Rocky loved a goal against them then Bobby Pires followed it up as a worthy successor of the number 7 jersey, Brady's goal in the 5-0 demolition, first team in North London (they were in Middlesex even after our move). Bring it on
Cazorla has been voted PFA fan's player of the month for the second month in a row. Best player in the league at the moment.
That's some special stuff for Santi, league wide recognition for two months in a row.

I've always loved the fact that we've won the league at White Hart Lane more than they have.
That's just embarrassing.
You won the league,
in black and white.
You won the league in black and white.
You won the league in the sixties.

I loved how in 03-04 they celebrated their draw almost more than we did. I remember my Dad (Spurs fan) rushing home early from work to burst into my room and ask me "well, was it a penalty? was it?" and laughing as if it was the greatest result in their history. I remember Henry commenting (might have been on the Untouchables DVD) that the players found it funny their fans were celebrating as if they had won the World Cup and not realising we were actually winning the league on their ground.
Sanchez out of this weekend. Not ideal but probably not the disaster it would have been 6-weeks ago.

No changes from Villa for me then.
If Sanchez was fit I would've had him in for Walcott.
Must win. Worst case scenario take a draw. Haven't lost to these mugs since Bale left.
Three for me, and two for them.

I need to this this more!
More I look at it the more it looks like the Ox's second touch is his intention.

Well Atkinson's mission succeeded today. give as many unwarranted yellow cards as you can, make sure Arsenal cant contest a 50/50 without risking a sending off, and let spurs away with everything.
I hate how some refs are becoming celebrities of being crap. And touching on referee Martin Atkinson’s performance, the boss said, “We were not very good, and the referee was at our level.”
Next few fixtures in the league;
Leicester (h)
Crystal Palace (a)
Everton (h)
QPR (a)
Westham (h)
Newcastle (a)
Liverpool (h)
Burnley (a)
Sunderland (h)
Lots of points available in that stretch.

No fan of Spurs.. Like the song though, apples and pears etc.

Piers is a renowned dickhead though.
Spurs deserved to win, outplayed us from start to finish. Can't have any complaints. Need to refocus now with a decent run of PL fixtures coming up plus the FA Cup and CL on our plate too. No time for dwelling on a derby defeat.
Three for me, and two for them.
Funny thing is, when we're fully fit, Piers is probably right!
Agree with buffon's post.
We don't lose these derbies much, it's painful to take, can't be bothered with any kind of analysis, roll on Leicester on Wednesday morn.
Fair call, onwards and upwards
Cocks will go limp, that much is a given

Should be banned for posting Piers. What a dick, he is.
Anyway; we've got no one but ourselves to blame for that result. We played like we did against Man City minus the good performances and good concentration.

Sanchez back in the squad for tomorrow. I'd hope we might see Chambers, Paulista, Rosicky, Flamini, Walcott all get some game time. Maybe give Ozil a chance to play through the middle again, something like...
Szy
Chambers Per Paulista Gibbs
Flamini
Walcott Rosicky Ozil Sanchez
Welbeck
Give Welb's a chance to kick on from his great showing at Sp*rs and give Giroud a chance to take a breather.
Can't see it happening, reckon it will be full strength lineups for all league games from here on in
Perhaps... but we do have a tight schedule now with champs league starting back next week.
You know it could be a good idea to try gabriel in the champs league games to begin with, he might be initially more suited to european opposition while he acclimatises to the english game...
