We're such nerds. Sitting at my desk here, in view I have an Arsenal calendar, a keyring, a little badge on the front of my desk fan, and perhaps my crowning arsenal glory for arsenal geekiness - a  little bit of paper on the wall where I typed up the paragraph from Fever Pitch where he describes that goal in '89. I loved that passage, and for some reason I typed it and printed it about 6-7 years ago, and it's been put up at every work desk I've sat at. Sometimes when pondering something I get distracted reading and replaying it in my mind...

Few stats:

*This will be Arsenal's 19th FA Cup final, a record for any team.

*Saturday will be Arsenal's 40th appearance at Wembley (old and new stadium combined), again more than any other team

*Wenger has reached the FA Cup semi-final 10 times and this is his seventh final. He has won five of his six previous finals - putting him level with former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

*Olivier Giroud has scored seven and assisted four goals in his 13 FA Cup appearances and has scored in each of his last three games against Villa.

Seeing as we're wearing yellow in the final (which just personally, I'm not happy about) I'll be wearing last years yellow away shirt with S.Cazorla 19 on the back in cup font. So if you see me at Four Kings, come and introduce yourself.

Just got tickets from Four Kings. $10 but includes that in food and soft drink (it's a voucher really), and she said they had sold about 60 so far.

Also, hardly a solid rumour, but I must say 60mil for these three would be a bit of a coup;

If we get Schneiderlin and Cech I will be a very happy Gooner... though because I'm picky, I'd rather a Martinez/Benzema than Vidal - if Vidal is available and value then sure, get him, but a world class CF is a greater need.

Those 2/3 signings would definitely take us to the next level (or two).

Schneiderlin and Cech would be awesome....Vidal i'm not fussed over. Would love a world class CF but we would have to let someone go to make it happen....having Wally,OX and Wilshere fit for most of the season would be nice too

I reckon Sanogo will get another go. He's showed a bit of promise and the boss might reconsider keeping him in the first team.

I hope not...

As an aside, there is a fairly regular Football365 mailbox contributor called "Jamie, AFC, Wellington". Is it anyone on here?

These guys have been out on loan because we already don't have room for them, so this doesn't create room at all.

We'd have to get rid of more.

There's jenkinson too.

I initially hit 'this' instead of 'quote' sorry :)

If you don't have Sky TV (ESPN) the FA Cup Final can be watched here for free on an official (legal in Australia) stream on SBS.

Quality of the stream should be pretty good (and free of those annoying pop-up ads on illegal streams).

Streaming here at 4.30 am NZT (build-up show streaming from 3.30 am):

You'll probably need to use a VPN like "Hola" if you live in NZ (or elsewhere outside Australia) and choose Australia as your region.

Download Hola here for free:

Big call to start Theo but probably the right one on recent form. Managed a couple of hours sleep. Could have got more but had to pick up the other half from a birthday thing at 11.30. Outside Four Kings now waiting for my mate to show up. Just want to get in there!

Comfortable at the moment. Scz has done very well with Villa crosses. Love watching Ozil's skills.
