How easy was that. How superb was that.

The most successful club in FA Cup history.

How could anyone think Sherwood would get the better of Wenger here?

Sanchez. What a hit son!!

Back to back.

THE ARSENAL.

Three for me, and two for them.

Done it again. Expected a tougher and more nervy game. Most one sided final I've seen.

Why were Villa not relegated, they made Newcadtle look like Barca in comparrison. Least I wont have to watch that in the Championship.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Loved watching it at Four Kings in the comfy recliners. Great turn out of Gooners. I must be the worse fan watching us play as I was still nervous at 3-0. I think because I just wanted us to keep a clean sheet. Awesome to see the pub full of red & white and the odd yellow shirt. A few Villa fans there as well. Pretty comfortable victory in the end but Villa probably had a couple of good penalty calls. Not sure if Coquelins was in the box though.

Were you on the lazyboys? I was in the group behind them. Organised to watch with one friend and two others we didn't realise were coming showed up so that was good. Was great to experience it with other fans again. Managed a couple of hours sleep before and again when I got home. Feel a bit wrecked now but all with it.

Anything can happen in a one off game but this really did show why there was a 37 point difference between us or whatever it was.

Cazorla's free kick last year was one of my favourtie all time Arsenal goals and this goes straight up there too. Also does Mertesacker only scores against Spurs and at Wembley?

Also worth mentioning that Wenger has won six of those, making him the equal most successful manager of all time in the world's oldest football competition.

Watching the open top bus parade.  Jack Wilshere looks like he's hanging big time. He started the 'what do we think of tottenham' , 'its happened again' and then tried to start 'my old man said be a Tottenham fan' before being cut off.

Interviewed Theo and he seemed to say they'll be sorting a contract out shortly as with Arteta.

Every player had a good game yesterday but special mention to the coq, what a performance from him. Some real classy moments on the ball on top of his usual game as well.

I've been on a high since yesterday morning. I'm still wearing my away shirt and was giving it large to some Liverpool mates today. Just to make me feel old, I worked out yesterday that when I first started supporting Arsenal (during the 78 Cup Final loss to Ipswich) we had only won the FA Cup four times.

Yep, I was on a recliner right in front of one of the big TV's. Met a couple of other gooners who were beside me. Was a great time. So glad I made the effort to go. Those chunky fries were brilliant as well. :)

Those highlights above are brilliant. Can't ever get sick of Sanchez's goal. An absolute belter, one of the greatest goals ever scored in an FA Cup final.

Three for me, and two for them.

I liked Tyler's commentary as Alexsis picked up the ball "he can hit them from here.."

The Final v Chelsea 2002. Similar thing with an UK broad coast. Comments man was Tim Lovejoy(?) a known Chelski fan.. "Turned over in a dangerous area, oh it's only Parlour...."

I see if I can find it online.

For pers goal. Who is the arsenal player in the background that is doing their best beavis and butthead impression? Haha.

Wow and watching the penalty calls again. I think both should have been given.

The Bellerin one was nailed on. I think the Coquelin one was a free kick outside the box.

Also worth noting, Wenger has won 6 fa cups in only 7 finals. That is impressive... never should've lost that 7th either grrrrr

Still buzzing. Great feeling for a long weekend. Having a pretty shark time at work lately but managed to not give it a single thought over the weekend thanks to this. Football Central had 50% off supporters gear on their website over the weekend and I ended up going a bit mental last night with what Arsenal stuff they had left!

Was pretty wrecked on Sunday and went out to a friend's place in the evening. Had a great sleep on Sunday night!

A trophy has to be the minimum requirement going into next season now.

Also feels like for the first time in a long time we can have a proper full pre-season. Got a pretty much fully fit squad, no CL qualifier and no World Cup or Euros. Just Sanchez and Ospina at the Copa America. Make a couple of good signing and there's no excuse to not get off to a good start next season.

Great win, we owned them from start to finish. have never quiet seen a 1 sided final like that before.

Personally i can't see the big deal with Jacky boy giving spurs sh*te, Media seems to be blowing up regarding it

Player of Season for me- Santi, he has been awesome.....playing deeper he's gone to another level, i have been really impressed with his tracking back.......Brings me to the question do we need to resign arteta with Jack/Rambo/Coq all being able to there??

Offseason goals :)

Resign Theo - Not his biggest fan but does offer us something different

Sign Cech

Sign Schneider or another top DMF

Sign Striker- no idea who :(

EPL loan for Gnabry

Sell Polidski........love him to bits but unless he wants to spend a lot of time of the bench he should be off

Sign a young CAM/10- future proofing and gets to learn off Ozil and Santi

Cech? No thanks. Past it. We have 2 top quality keepers already. Not convinced we need Schneiderlin either.

Santi definitely POTY. Sanchez has been great, but Santi has definitely been the one to drive us on.

Sanchez POTY. Cazorla was consistent for the whole season and has proved a wonderful signing for a pretty cheap price. But a well deserved second. Sanchez was out of this world for someone in a new team and league. We can safely say we have a top tier player again for the first time in years. May have got a bit burnt out at the start of 2015 but that was understandable following a world cup and coming to a new league without the winter break he had been used to, as well as playing virtually every minute. There were also several long trips to South America during international windows where he would play every minute of Chile's games too. Came back to produce the goods again at the end and probably came up with the 3 most important moments of the season - the only goal in the CL qualifier, winner in the Cup semi final, and one of the greatest ever cup final goals.

Absolutely in awe of him. I knew he was good, but didn't quite expect this good. One of the hardest working players I've seen too. Runs himself into the ground every game which is why I expected we probably wouldn't see him again after February but he stayed fit and never stopped. Looked absolutely dead sitting in the dugout when he came off in the final.

It's rare that someone signs and instantly goes into your top 5 all time Arsenal players, but Cazorla and Sanchez have both done that.

What a performance in the Cup Final and once that second went in I thought there was no way that Villa were going to get back in the game. Not sure if Wilshere was hungover or still off his chops, but I absolutely loved his singing efforts.

No champions league playoff, another FA Cup and the knowledge that we will sign a centre-forward, DM and GK make it a summer to sit back and enjoy for the first time in a while.

Sanchez my player of the season hands down, Ballerin my newcomer of the season.

I wouldnt call Ospina and Sczczczczcy world class but not the end of world we dont sign another keeper.....Cech is no where near past it apart from Man u and Chelsea he would be a starter for any other EPL club

POTY for me would probably go;

1 - Sanchez

2 - Cazorla

3 - Coquelin

4 - Koscielny

With special mentions to Giroud, Bellerin, Monreal and Ospina.

The last couple of games has got me excited about Theo in the striking role again, excited enough for us not to strengthen there. Giroud, Welbeck, Walcott and Sanchez is plenty of cover.

With the Ox and Theo both fit at the start of the season I would not be interested in a wide forward either.

CB/Fullback we're more than covered.

Attacking/box to box midfield roles we're covered. I'd re-sign Rosicky too, he adds a lot to the team and seems happy-ish to play a squad role. He's a good squad player too - covers several positions, adds lots of energy, and a more than capable starter should we experience an injury crisis.

GK I am fine with what we've got, seems an unnecessary position to strengthen in my opinion. Szczesny will be our no.1, and Ospina is great quality for a no.2.

In terms of numbers we are ok for DMF with Arteta/Coquelin/Flamini, but if I were Arsene I would not be renewing Arteta and Flamini's contracts, I'd be on the shop for Schneiderlin or someone of that quality to battle with Coquelin. For me that's the only position I'd be looking to improve us.

So I guess to summarise my preferences;

- Let Arteta, Flamini and Podolski go

- Re-sign Walcott and Rosicky

- Bring in Scheiderlin or a similar quality defensive midfielder

- Loan out Sanogo, Jenkinson and Gnabry
