I'm quite enamoured wth the kit.

Where the feck is open at 7am? Don't suppose the backbencher boys willl be opening, even it is at the chance of some derision. Arf!

Getting pretty nervy now.

Will be getting kids off to school around the time of the second half, might sneak a look at the first half via www.atdhe.net

COYS!

A pretty strong squad bar King and Gomes (still tentative).

Woooohooooooooo! St About Arse day this weekend?
almost 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Can't say we didn't deserve it - Fulop made three class saves and even the save in the lead-up to the goal was good
almost 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
HH - fancy a pint? I need a drink after that

Congrats guys. Rather you than Man sh*tty or the Redsh*te.

Its no longer a problem.

almost 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
that was awesome and completely merited. would never have known Man City was the home team desperately chasing a goal in the last 10 mins. Spurs controlled most of game and created best chances.

i only watched the last half hour but in what i did see spurs were perfect. Controlling everything, nullifying any threat with ease, creating chances and most importantly taking one of em. Great performance, great season lads.

Your finish to the year has been awesome, big win after big win. See you in the big time, oh for a north london champions league derby in the knockout stages next season!!!! What drama that would be. I think i'd die of a heart attack no matter the result.

Excellent stuff.

I was yelling for you boys the entire match, was entirely deserved. Thought it was never going to go in but Crouchy finally did the business.

Congratulations, just make sure you don't slip up in the qualifiers like Everton a couple of years back. Welcome to the big time.

Here are your potential opponents in the 4th qualifying round as things stand right now:

Ajax
Dynamo Kiev
Braga
Sampdoria
Auxerre/Lille (if either finishes 3rd in France) or Basel (if neither finishes third)

All very, very beatable.

Basel, please Basel.

We should be able to brush past them.

boom! boom!

Very much like how we swept aside the Mancs today.

The City and Sweep show infact.

Champions, the lot of them. Any highlights on the internet??
almost 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
So let's assume that getting into the CL does attract a better quality of player. Some will have to go. But who?

I imagine that both BAE and Kaboul could be improved upon and I also think a quality striker might also be an acquisition (Eider and Pav shipped off). Although it would be interesting to see Keano back with the CL beckoning.
almost 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
I think we should keep eidur. He is quality and doesn't seem to mind warming the bench. Keano will def come back fired up, but I feel he will fizzle out into a squad player.

But not to worry, as Torres is coming our way!

Haha maybe we will try lure in some other decent strikers like Carlton Cole, Hulk, Villa as a marquee?
Maybe another CB sayyy that guy from Palermo (prajic), Gary cahill or hangeland or another croatian. We will probably need another cm so ummm maybe a cheeky bid for cattermole?

The question is, even though we have come fourth, will a world class player want to come to spurs? We have a solid squad, but a lack of top, top class.
