As long as he leaves the drama at the front gate I will be happy.

I rate him as a senior pro.

He will also give us much needed consistency at the back .

source?

It was from 'The Times', but who really knows i guess...

Cheers Harry,

Is he injured or just a little Sol Campbellish?

Shucks...

Often don't let the facts get in the way of a good story, but this time....

This from Soccernet re CL game in the morning.-

Tottenham's injury problems have eased ahead of tomorrow's Champions League play-off round second leg against Young Boys.

Strikers Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane and Roman Pavyluchenko and midfielder Giovani dos Santos are all expected to be available after missing Saturday's Barclays Premier League win at Stoke.

Luka Modric (groin) is still out, while Jamie O'Hara (back), David Bentley (ankle) and Jonathan Woodgate (groin) are long-term absentees

over 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Any news on how serious Luka's injury is?
over 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Not specifically, but groins are tricky injuries.

Defoe is going under the knife next week for a grion injury he picked up at the WC as well.

Bugger.

He is class IMO.

Krancjar and Huddles to be running the midfield tomorrow with Bale and Lennon wide. I have a feeling Keano will score an important goal tomorrow.
over 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
That would be my prference too, but 'Arry does seem to like Wilson, so I wouldn't be surprised if Krancjar rides the pine for 45 mins.

Someone care to work out the seeding? Will we make the top 8 seed?

over 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago

Brilliant result still!  And a few players to return from injury too...

I hope Defoe's surgery next week goes well and he is back in action sooner rather than later.

Full marks to Crouchie for his hat-trick (needs more robot tho!). Bale was outstanding again, laying on all 4 goals - he deserved his rest at the end!!

Bit bizzare with Gomes being injured but Harry not taking him off till h/t, hopefully it's not too serious...

Bring on the draw tonight!!

Nope, we just missed out on the second seedings...

Crouchie wants Inter & Real Madrid - gotta love his confidence!!

I raise my beer to many more Champions League nights at WHL!

COYS!

Have to agree on the Bale factor, that kid is better every time I watch him play. I'm salivating every time he's on the ball

Crouchie! Great performance in front of Don Capello

Ouch. Inter, Werder Bremen and FC Twente.

over 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
tough pool for you guys...
over 15 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
As much as i'm glad the arrogant Lankey McLank Lank is going to have to put his money where his mouth is, i'm actually keen on you guys pulling it off.

I still think you're the most pooooose team in North London though . brumbys2010-08-27 08:21:52

It's tough, but not impossible.

Inter have been weakend by the loss of Jose (some would say esp by replacing him with Benitez?!)
Werder Bremen have lost Ozil, who was one of their key men.
FC Twente have lost their manager since last season, even if that was Steve McClaren!

So...the lack of signings/changes at WHL could actually be a blessing, esp + no long/awkward trips to Russia/Ukraine/Turkey.

COYS!
