this is the worst officiating of a game I have ever seen.

Spurs have had 3 pens, when they should have had none.

Twente should have had one pen and had none.

Spurs have had one player sent off when they should have had 2.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Penalties one and three you could argue. But number two? Surely that was a penalty.

Bale dived.  He was on the ground before there was any contact (and thats if there actually was)

How many games will Van De Vaart miss? Just 1?

You haven't seen much of the A-League muppets in blue then?

Heard the foul on Bale was a deadset pen - but the other two, well. Glad the ref got my request from my Pakistani bookmaker friends. 3 pens in the match was paying 750-1 - happy days.

Yeah the middle penalty was legit, the other two should never have been given.

More triffic 'Arryisms from soccernet.com:

"Redknapp has poured praise on the youngster and his most recent commendation has likened him to Chelsea star Ashley Cole, rated by many as the best left-back in the world.

"I do not make comparisons lightly but he and Ashley Cole are quite similar and that can only be a massive compliment to Gareth," said Redknapp. "My left-back at Tottenham has come through an amazing 12 months and matured into one of the best players in his position in the world.

"Just over a year ago, he had this awful jinx hanging over him where he had not played in a winning Spurs team. Cole started out at Arsenal as a left-winger. Gareth was a left-winger as a lad too. Now, I would say he and Ashley Cole are two of a kind in this country and the two best left-backs in England."

He added: "The main difference between him and Ashley Cole is that he is Welsh - more's the pity. I would go so far as to say that Gareth is the best player to come out of Wales since Ryan Giggs. As an Englishman, I am highly disappointed he is Welsh."

Keep up.  News was posted 4 days ago

Wouldn't like to see that happen anyway.  We've already got Pompey as our feeder club.

Job well done, VDV again class and some signs Lennon getting it back on track. Brave call by ref to give goal but looking at front on replays keeper was never distracted by Gallas.

Now to give Benitez a headache

Cheers Phil

What do the strips look like in real life and up close. Can't say they have really grabbed me from what i see in pics or fuzzy internet feeds.

Also I was a bit shocked to see you link to Kruse Kronicle at first (much relief after clicking on the link!).

Strip looks fine at close range. Not really something I pay much attention to, tbh. Only it's always difficult adjusting when we play away at another club that wears white.

Did I miss something? Does "Kruse Kronicle" have some kind of meaning i'm not aware of?
It just happens to be an economics/development related blog I read occasionally.

Wayne Looney to sign for Madrid. Kaka to leave Madrid and join Van Der Vaart at Spurs.

You heard it first here.

By far and away the best hatrick I can remember from a Spurs player (admitedly not too many others come to mind).

That won't happen because Inter will have the full 11 and will actually be trying.

Three for me, and two for them.

Exactly! VdV will be back too, so Bale won't be their only concern. Besides which, with Ledley (hopefully) at the back, and the fact that the rest surely can't play that bad again (can they?), then it should be an interesting game...

Good to see the team salvage some pride tonight, winning the second half 3-0 is no mean feat after that first half showing. Certainly happy with being 2 points clear in second place (with a waaay better GD) after 3 games - qualifying is very do-able!

Lack of a goal scoring striker is costing us dearly. Having said that Pav has to be a better option than Crouch at least until Defoe returns.
