Whilst it was great to have a full house at North Harbour Stadium yesterday it sounds like  it was a nightmare getting in and out with many taking until just before half time to get in and for ever to get away after the game. Then if you wanted a pot of chips during the game, you would miss 40 minutes of play.

It seems that Jaffas are constantly in a  queuing mode.

I don't get what all the angst is about? I got a reasonably good carpark. Got to my seats at about 12:15. The line for booze was small, And after the game I walked out got in the car and sat in traffic for maybe 10 mins and that was it.

Very much enjoyed the game and I wish people would just stop moaning.

You'd have to be seriously and sadly desperate for a pot of chips to wait 40 minutes in a queue while the football is on.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

I don't know where all this is coming from. The stadium was full at kick off. The only people arriving late must've been aiming to get in on kickoff and cocked up, serves them right.

We got there at 11:40ish (to watch the opening stuff), left the stadium after the match and I was home on the other side of the bridge probably 25 minutes later. I took the backroads to the next motorway onramp knowing everyone would be at the one right next to the stadium.

Honestly, people need to grow some brains.

I was planning to return to the Bencher between games on Saturday, but have just seen the NO PASS OUT Policy!

FIFA U-20 World Cup Conditions of Entry

Not sure what you can bring into the Stadium for this tournament? Read the Venue Regulations and Conditions of Entry document.

IMPORTANT NOTE - NO PASS OUTS: Once a ticket has been used to enter the Stadium, it cannot be used to enter again, including in between matches of a double header. If you leave the Stadium after the first match, you will require another ticket to re-enter for the second match.

Happily this is not a policy at AMI Stadium in Christchurch.

No mention of anything like that in the stadium regulations:

http://vbase.co.nz/images/documents/AMI_Stadium_Co...

No mention of a "no pass out policy" in any FIFA regulations relating to the tournament either.

So I'm thinking you can come and go as you please from AMI Stadium in Christchurch.

There's heaps of food outlets in the area too.

Buy a voucher for the nearby "Cargo Bar and Restaurant" here and get $40 of food and drink for only $20 to use after 6 pm any day for any number of people:

http://www.grabone.co.nz/christchurch/cargo-bar-32

I got an email with all the rules of the Chch games, and it clearly sys no pass outs or drink bottles so I'm sure we'll see it in action today.

The no leaving policy between the games was devastating in Hamilton. A heard people talking around me about how they wanted to leave grab dinner etc then come back for second game but just left instead. The worst part was, I was happy to buy a beer etc but charging $2 to withdraw cash for an $8 beer is a bit too much for me.

Like a number of others here I'm surprised at all the angst about NHS on Saturday.

I got there early as I had to pick up all my tickets for the comp and didn't trust Ticketek but was all processed smoothly. Parked about a 10-15 min walk away

Ground looked basically full at kick off so can't see how people missed the first half.- probably because they thought they could park outside the stadium 10 mins before kick off.

Food service may have been slow but I saw people return fairly quickly with pizzas , gourmet hot dogs , etc. Why spend 40 mins in a queue for chips ?

After the game I walked to my car and was on the motorway in about 10 mins.

Yes ., NHS has some issues but how many out of a croud of 25,000 had big issues ? Great day out - never knew there were so many Ukrainians in NZ - was sat just along from about 150. Now know the words to a few Ukrainian folk songs !

Might only be half full tonight acc to Herald report. Plus twice as many free buses being laid on from downtown to stadium. Hot chips might still be a problem tho. Best feed up beforehand. There's a great Yorkshire Roast outlet in Westfield Mall, a few minutes walk away.

These early round double headers are unbelievable value. Less than $20 for two top quality games.

So what if you have to wait in line for some soggy over priced cold chips

Hi Guys,

If anyone has any tickets to the Final up in Auckland I would happily purchase them off you. Got shouted the flights up there last night and have been on the net to purchase the tickets now and they are sold out.

Wellington numbers have been a disappointment for me, particularly when last night's late game promised and delivered so much.  I imagine we lost a few due to the clash with the NZ game but not the additional 5k I would have hoped for.

The local numbers stack up okay vs Auckland based on population but I'd have still hoped to break 12k for the opener and 7.5k last night despite the weather.  Hopefully people are keeping their powder dry and there is a big croud for the Junior AWs on Friday.

Agree with HN.  Was surprised so little turned up.  I didn't even believe it was 5k.  Hopefully picks up for Friday, but if weather don't play ball then it will be another small croud.

Sorry if this breaches any etiquette, but I have ended up with two spare side by side tickets for the Wellington games tomorrow.  Aisle 20, row GG. Any contribution to the $44 cost of purchasing greatly received.

Looking to buy Wellington QF tickets, website has opportunity to present promo code/password . Anyone suggest and suitable promo code for discounted tickets? Or looking to shift a QF ticket?

It's not a hashtag, it's an anchor. It takes you to the Asia section on the page when you load it.

Probably not counting double headers where the same people are watching two games.

Three for me, and two for them.

256,372 - 170,000 = 86,372 = Sepp's cut.

So I am stupid and now can't get any tickets to the final whoops. So if anyone has any spare tickets give me a PM.

Ohhh wait just quote me instead. Thanks

08 Jun 22:40

I'm a reader of these forums but not a commenter.

I have one spare ticket to the final (and 3rd and 4th play off).

My son has taken ill and can't go. We paid $77.90 for it, Gate A , block 10, D24. You would have to sit next to me; I'm in D23.

If you're not interested it will go on Trademe. We only want what we paid for it. Prepared to send it to you before you make payment. Let me know.

Now that the final has sold out, just a quick reminder that it's illegal to sell tickets for higher than cost price as the U20 World Cup is covered by the Major Events Management Act, and we'll remove any posts on here that are offering tickets for higher than what was paid for them.

It's actually illegal to re-sell your ticket full stop. It's part of the terms and conditions of purchase.

FIFA don't allow you to re-sell tickets at all.

See here:

http://resources.fifa.com/mm/document/tournament/c...

Page 3:  "Resale: Neither the ticket purchaser nor those accompanying them may resell or otherwise transfer tickets. This is indicated in the Ticket Terms and Conditions that must be agreed to at the time of purchase."

And the specific term of purchase here at No. 8:

http://tickets.fifanz2015.com/Content/buyers/terms...

"8. Only the purchaser of Tickets and those designated in the order form as accompanying him or her shall have the right to use such Tickets. NEITHER THE PURCHASER NOR THOSE ACCOMPANYING HIM OR HER MAY SELL OR OTHERWISE TRANSFER SUCH TICKETS WITHOUT THE PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL OF FIFA AND/OR THE LOC, such approval to be given in line with the applicable Ticket sales conditions and not to be unreasonably withheld. In any case, for security reasons the Authorities are entitled to refuse entry to the stadium to persons not registered to have the right to use the Ticket."

I'd be careful selling your ticket on a popular public retail site like Trade Me because FIFA have actually made it illegal to re-sell your tickets at all. It's part of the terms and conditions of purchase.

I've heard that Trade Me are instantly removing all ads for u-20 World Cup tickets after being contacted by the tournament organizers and Ticketek.

FIFA don't allow you to re-sell tickets at all.

Hopefully someone on these forums will buy it from you informally.

See here:

http://resources.fifa.com/mm/document/tournament/c...

I wouldn't say it's illegal as opposed to it's against the conditions.

Ie Selling at more than resale is against the Law whereas just selling is against FIFAs regs so ya risk the ticket being cancelled.
