Has anyone received their tickets or ticket confirmation?

I was going to look up the dates and double check which matches I bought for and man I can't find an email, or on FIFA's website a way to view my transaction.

I thought I must have fudgeed up and not bought my Tix but Fifa defo took my money mid last year

Haven't seen mine yet either. I don't think it's quite panic stations yet though.

the way fifa do tickets is they make it available a few weeks before the event starts, you need to login to your fifa account & download it that way, they will email you when it's ready.. It's to avoid people selling them on the black market :)

You can see where seats have been allocated now.

Once you have logged into the ticket site and it comes to the Match Selection page, click on your name on the top right (next to the link to log out), then click on the 'My Tickets' link on the right sidebar (the black one).

I got a Stadium Super Pass and have got tickets in blocks/sections 7*, 11*, 12, 30*, 6, 7, 9, 6 and 6.  The ones with a * are uncovered, all the covered are in the first 3 rows (A to C).

Yeah you would've had to be quick to get in for that game. There's gonna be a lot of yanks over for the cup. Think they may be gone already.

I'm lucky enough that my misso is far less lazy than me and got in early.

Grr, mine are all 5 or 13, and mostly right down the front (eg "MM").

Anyone else seen the crap offering of supporters gear by NZ Football? Not one thing is branded 'Football Ferns'. Even the scarf labelled as Football Ferns Supporters Scarf just has NZ Football logo on it. Unbelievable. And the two kit tops I wanted were sold out. 😩 seriously below par NZF. Having to print out my own t-shirt when we are the actual hosts?! Joke.

Even some of the official merch is meh.  They have a koala soft toy and a kiwi soft toy both with a T Shirt.

It's like, you have an actual mascot.  Make soft toys of her!!!!

Yeah I'm now on the lookout for tickets to that as well - however they might come. My 9 year old daughter is mad on football and she has Dutch heritage from her mum so the USA v Netherlands game would be perfect for her to support a team and in a huge occasion! She already has a bunch of Dutch supporter gear (from her rellies over there) so would certainly look the part...

more tickets is always a good thing!
maybe it's just me and I'm having a moment, but are anyone else tickets allocated but not printable? ie only accessable online or via the FIFA app?

Crap, they released new tickets but looks like just single tickets to the USA Netherlands game.  Tried every seat category with 2 tickets and they all said there was insufficient availability.

Got so excited when the drop down box appeared :(

Anyone else looking to go to the USA Netherlands game, for some reason it reckons the seats in a massive group of seats aren't seated together.  If you go choose your seats the image clearly shows them seated together.

So you can buy 2 individual tickets and use the seat selector to choose 2 seats next to each other.

STOOOOOOKED TO BE GOING TO THIS GAME!

not surprising given the stuff poll taken in the article, where 57% of responders aren't even gonna watch a game.

I wonder about sports fans in this country sometimes, this is gonna be the biggest women's sporting event this country has ever seen and 57% are a bit "meh" about the whole thing. Are we that stuck in the "only boys play sport and sport is rugby" mentality?

Yes afraid so. As much as I love this place. A lot of people in this country with there heads stuck in the sand. Not just when it comes to women's sport either. Being out of touch I think is a by product of being an isolated island nation at the bottom of the world. We can only just do our best individually.

Our population is also tiny.

A small percentage of people in a place like the USA can still be a substantial number of people.

Hell even Aus is 5 times our size.  So 5% of their population would be the same number as 25% of ours.

We just don't have the volume of people for small group  to still be big numbers.

Also from that article:
"edition of the Women’s World Cup, surpassing the total sales for France 2019."

France is so I'm much bugger than NZ and Aus combined and travel in Europe is so easy with a bunch of countries right there able to travel for their teams games.

That's actually pretty impressive between NZ and Aus we have done that.

France WWC was also their summer. You are more likely to coax someone off the couch for midweek night time in summer, than a 7.30pm Wednesday night July kickoff anywhere in NZ.

Without looking it up to check my memory, the timings of the matches in Auckland (where I am) are terrible. There are very few in the weekend, mostly mid-week mid-evening. In Auckland. In Auckland traffic. With Auckland's unreliable public transport system. In winter.

Someone wasn't thinking about that.

Not having a heavy weighting of weekend afternoon matches in Auckland is ridiculous. I'll be taking it on a see-what-the-weather-is-like basis.

(unless my memory is wrong.....)

To be fair, men's football struggles to draw a crowd here even amongst actual football fans, there's very little chance of getting kiwi genpop to show to women's football.

The ferns being shark doesn't help the marketability of the event either.

Yea I've taken leave for a couple of games.  That's a big commitment for a lot of people.

The comments re timing of auckland games are spot on. Live in Orewa and work in Penrose so midweek games are a logistical nightmare
Have tickets to 6 games and only two midweek - opening game (could have taken or left that) and the semi final (biggest game of football I think I will ever see in NZ).Others are either weekends or Friday nights,Suspect the attendance at mid week games at Eden Park will be very average
I hope the Auckland public transport system copes with the big games , particularly the opening game and the semi final I would put money down on their being issues

I have all nine of my Wellington tickets, which is cool.

You HAVE to have the tickets within the FIFA App and present them on your mobile phone at the stadium.

Hmm, what could go wrong eh, at the USA sell out game, I wonder what the queues will be like????? That has to be slower than scanning a paper barcode or a season pass.
