Transfer news just in:
Headline: Adj wanted by PSL Big 3

Reality - hot interest is probably coming from Kaizer Chiefs (air guitar rif lol). Adj on his last year and KC loves a free deal. Kaizer Chiefs is the biggest club in the country and in terms of supporters bigger than the Springboks. Will their Deep pockets prevent Adj from returning to the AFL?

AFL?

De Jong get 72 mins (0-0) in a 1-0 win over Marumo Gallants. Stellies up to 4th.
Same 2 teams meet in a League Cup tie in a few days, this time in Bloemfontein.

ADJ 64 mins (1-0) in a 1-0 loss.

Not a bad thing for Stellenbosch to be out of the League Cup as they juggle CAF & PSL commitments.

ADJ following the exotic travel journeys of Jeremy Brockie a few years ago.

CAF Confederation Cup, and Stellenbosch travel to Mali to play Stade Malien de Bamako. First group game.

Other teams in the Group are RSB Berkane from Morocco, and Desportivo Lunda-Sul from Angola.

Stellies haven't played a game in 3 weeks.

Great upset win for Stellenbosch in Soweto. Up to 3rd
Pirates (down to 2nd) had won 7 from 7 prior. Sundowns (1st) edge Pirates on GD

Incredible low block performance from Stellenbosch who just arrived back from Mali (either first thing that morning or late the previous last night). Awesome debut for 21 year old left back Mdaka for Stellies who looks like a gem.

The Moroccan club a class above?
ADJ 89 mins (1-3) in a 1-3 loss.

RSB Berkane were up 3-0 at one point.

Next a trip for Stellies to play Desportivo Lunda-Sul in Angola.

CAF Confederation Cup, and Stellenbosch host Stade Malien de Bamako, from Mali.

Big game with 2 pool games left. Stellies are 2nd (6 pts) and Bamako 3rd (4 pts).
Perfect RSB Berkane from Morocco are 1st (12 pts) and Angola's Desportivo Lunda-Sul 4th (1 pt)

So this game is likely a battle for 2nd in the group, and qualification for the next stage. Though going to the next continental football stage with the long haul travel in Africa, probably doesn't help Stellies PSL campaign (now down in 7th)

ADJ 81 mins (2-0) in a 2-0 win.
Desportivo Lunda-Sul only managed a draw, so Stellies confirmed as through to the next round with one pool game left.

Big changes at Stellies with Mamelodi Sundowns just buying the jewel in their crown - Jaden Adams for £1 million. The Bafana International, 23, is one of the highest assists merchants in the PSL. This move is definitely going to effect Adj goal opportunities for the next coming months.

Adj has just entered the last few months in his contract and can now sign a pre-contract with another club if he so chooses. Might that be Afl fc?

Auckland will definitely be interested in ADJ. They are down in 8th spot for goals scored in the ALM.

De Jong is an Aucklander, and knows the PSL is a bit out of sight out of mind, re All Whites selection. Gillion got picked in the Nov window, but ADJ didn't.

What coin would he be on at Stellies?

PSL doesn't publish earnings but I would say bare minimum about NZ15000 a month.

His options look really good as a free agent. Kaizer Chiefs will definitely try and sign him. I have a feeling he will try to make a move to a Scandinavian club or even AFC to try and get into the national team. But as we all now, money talks very loudly.

CAF Confederation Cup, and Stellenbosch (2nd in their pool, 9 pts) with the long trip to play RSB Berkane (1st, 13 pts) in Morocco.

Both teams already through to the next phase, so Stellies may rest a few incl ADJ. Final group game, so Stellies will finish 2nd no matter the result.

Stellies get hammered 5 zip.
They may have sent a weakened team for long flight north, for this dead rubber. Google tells me there are no direct South Africa - Morocco flights, and it can take 15 hours plus one way with the connection.

ADJ wasn't in the squad. Stellies play a  PSL game in 4 days.

Weakened team was sent to Morocco but Berkane are a sold team. Top of the Morocco league with the traditional giants like Raja and Wadad  struggling. They definitely favourite to win this tournament.
