Have you seen the FIFA executive? Bloody amazing they still don't use carrier Pidgeons!

I am surprised with our history of faxes that this is still going on.

I hear theyve been trialling email in two confederations to see how it goes before rolling it out across all of FIFA

this is just going to end badly I can feel it, I hope that NZFA don't play durante unless they have an absolute yes go ahead from Fifa. If they play him I can see an appeal getting upheld and us being handed a 3-0 defeat. Win the game first then play him against the solomons when it doesn't matter

I think the stuff article makes it pretty clear that is what they are doing. They will not play him unless cast Iron gold edged clearance is in Freddy's hot little hand!

If it's not 100% definite before the New Caledonia game then we shouldn't risk it. A disqualification could be disasterous. Wait on that Fax Fred.

Hot off the press: still waiting for that FAX.

It's a new technology that FIFA have developed to help them with their corruption!!!

Smeltz aint an aussie, he was born in Germany, both parents from NZ. He moved to aus when he was 6. He holds duel citizenship as he is entitled to do but chose to play for NZ.

The fact that it came from J82 automatically makes it a joke.

Not sure if this post is in the 95% or the 5%...

A post by J82 has two possible outcomes: Outcome 1 is "bollocks", while outcome 2 is "not bollocks".

On average a post will be bollocks 95 times out of one hundred.

1) Calculate the probability that post #299 of this thread is "not bollocks".  Show your working (points deducted for scruffiness).

2) If the outcome of post #299 was in fact "bollocks", what is the probability that post #301 is "not bollocks".

3) Why?

4) Are you sure about that?

I think they have the Fax. It's just not the answer they were looking for as FIFA aren't prepared to commit. Sounded complicated and ambiguous. This was straight from the top at NZF.

That's why we should force them into making a decision by playing him in the Solomons.

It wouldn't actually be NZF forcing FIFA to make a ruling, it would be the Solomons that would raise a dispute over player eligibility, which would mean that FIFA have to make a definitive ruling.

To answer your question Ahmad, I have no idea what would happen to Dura if we 'lock him in' to NZ by playing him in a qualifier, and then FIFA come out and say he is ineligible.

It would leave him having to move to another A league club if he wants to play international football (for the socceroos)
