I think he generally plays the full 90.

Unless he elbows the opposition in the face and then gets throttled by the Captain of the other side.

Watching the second half of Shenzhen's away fixture to Qingdao now and no sign of Killen.

His contract up in Jan and I can't see him staying there for another season, so it's whether or not he wants to try his hand somewhere else or is gonna move home while he is still young enough to have an impact in the A-League.

is that when the chinese league finishes? because he signed a 1 1/2yr contract last july. If he is free in novemeber even better...

CSL finishes 2 Nov, CFA Cup finishes mid November (Shenzhen got knocked out in the 1st round). Wouldn't think there is any need for him to hang around (CSL would kick off again in April 2012) Shenzhen. Unless the shopping is really good.

Although Shenzhen have moved into a new stadium recently so they probably have great training facilities.

If he wasn't playing it would probably have been Dong Xuecheng (on loan from Shanghai) and Huang Fengtao or Flores up front.

It'd be great if the new ownership could lure him back here in November, would be a great addition to the Nix.

Killen has a thigh strain - he missed the game last night (1-1 draw with Liaoning)

here @ 4:18

Shenzhen have been in the relegation zone for most of the season. This result pretty much cements it with only 3 games to go and 4 points apart from Nanchang (and the remaining fixtures aren't kind to Shenzhen).

Actually they are only 3 points apart from Nanchang according to soccerway.

My mistake.

Nanchang played earlier and got a draw to pull 4 pts clear.
Shenzhen pegged that back with their draw.  That was their easiest match and the remaining 3 are hard asks.  Nanchang at least have a game against Shanghai to kill off Shenzhen's hopes.

Killen scores for Shenzhen but can't prevent another loss which sees them well and truly relegated.

I think he has re-signed with them.   Want's to help them get back into the CSL.

Maybe a guest spot with the Nix in the off-season?

Ricki's quotes seem to indicate no ones coming to the Nix till January at least.

I really think we should have made a play at Killen. Guest spot would be good, could convince him to sign down the track if he enjoys it.

Any source confirming Killen signing with Shenzhen?

"Killen, although the effectiveness of the team not long, but very loving Zhezhi Shenzhen team, for the team's relegation, he said: "I am very, very sad, this is the first time in his career following relegation, he This is no way to say things, hope the team can be completed in relatively good results next year to kill back to super. "

??In addition, Kieren also revealed his own next season the team will remain in force for the Shenzhen Civil war. He said that his team has signed with Shenzhen contract next season, he still hoped to campaign on behalf of the Shenzhen team Super League. If there is no accident, then he will be here next season effect."

Or words to that effect!

Edit:  Has also been mentioned in a report dated 30th that Killen has signed for another year.  Worryingly the coach, Frenchman Troussier is also staying on.

Im sure he'll come to NZ if he gets a call from the Phoenix. At the very least we could take him on a loan until the Chinese football season starts again next year. Any of the Fever boys able to contact the owners?

Herbert could force him by saying that unless he signs with the Phoenix, he won't get called up for the national team.

I'm assuming Chris' comment was in jest... one can only hope so.

Would be dissapointing if he signed on for another year to play div 2 in China. He's a better player than that and probaly doesn't need the money after his time at Celtic... so why not challenge yourself somewhere else Killie??

Hope he comes to the Nix.

(a similar report I read yesterday also mentioned team mate Honduran Flores was probably going to sign on for another year and Troussier was staying. I guess the RMB on offer is pretty convincing)

No I think this is how Central United have such quality in their ranks. Must be an Auckland thing.
