Yes as per in the NZ U20s thread, he seems to be one who in the last few months has quickly progressed. Considering he was only a bit player really at Birkenhead last year.

Adding to growing number of exciting Kiwi players who can dribble at pace and take someone on. Seems to be  a number in the U20s like LBS, GSR, Ukich, Walker & now Putt. Early days but nice to see

Owen Barnett scored a ripper of a match winner for Sarasota Paradise in USL 2 action today.

Just below the pro level, and I think he's got one more year at college over there too, but Sarasota are making the jump up to USL 1 for 2026. Could be a good foot in the door for him if he could get picked up for a pro deal.

Interesting that Tulsa lead the Western Conference with only 29 pts (16 games). Whilst Louisville are only 2nd in the Eastern Conference with 38 pts (17 games). Lot tighter in the West, as LC & Charleston (1st, 41 pts) runaway with the top 2 spots in the East.
