Not a surprise at all, was always on the cards. Hope the Packers steamroll them in the North.

Can't wait for the season opener, hope we absolute destroy them.

The new season starts in just over an hour with the rematch of the last season's NFC Championship game.

Yeah, probably not a great spectacle for neutrals, but I was very pleased with the win, and especially with the D which netralised AP and Favre pretty effectively overall.

Good start for the saints.

Favre did okay, age wont mean a thing to him this season.

Hopefully the cards and Anderson will do their thing.

Bah, stupid Colts. Had a $6 multi on 9 games this morning, covering getting 8/9 & 9/9. Got $15 back for 8/9, but if the Colts had of won, would have got $200

How do you cover getting 8/9?

Been chuckling the whole morning after the Falcons lost to a third-string QB this morning.

Superbowl contenders my arse.

Washington V Dallas is the TV game today. Think I shall head down to the kings and watch my token quarter later.

I do my bets online, when you do a multi it gives you the option 'any X' at the bottom. I did a $6 percentage bet, with 'any 8' and all 9 legs, works out as 60c on every combo of 8, and combo of 9. So one of the 8 legged ones came in.

If the cowboys O-Line keeps that up they will be facing a losing season!

Great game, thought the cowboys had it, but then sawe the flag.

My cards won first up, but played awful, there was no connection between Anderson Fitzegerald.

yep, very spur of the moment stuff last night. I normally just stick to betting on the games they show live, since I dont know all that much about how teams are going etc.

really enjoying it this season, good win for the Bengals. 5 fg's

had money on the pats though after seeing the jets offense last week i didn't give them a chance against the pats who looked good vs Bengals

i probably shouldn't bet on a sport i don't know as much about

anyone know why they don't play on Saturday and spread the games out more?

Yep College Saturday and Pros Sunday with the exception of the Monday night game

Been some good close games, was a bit disappointed with the Manning Bowl II yesterday though..

But what matters is the Bucs are 2-0

Friday night and Saturday are college football days. Late in the season when college football finishes there's NFL games on Saturdays (usually 2-3), we tend to get those shown on ESPN here (around Xmas). The season opener for the last 6 seasons is on a Thursday night (Friday arvo here), and there's also a tradition of Thanksgiving games (usually last Thursday in November, two games, with the Lions and Cowboys being the traditional hosts for these games - Cowboys v Saints is the Thanksgiving game this season, woot, woot!).

The playoffs are played on Saturdays and Sundays: Wild Card and Divisional Round on Saturday and Sunday, the Championship games and the Superbowl are on Sunday.

2-0 is all that counts. Reminiscent of some of our games from the second half of last season.
