Philly's D stepped up big time though 5 INT's and 5 sacks and couple forced fumbles. And NcNabb did get 3 TD's too.

Mike Bell carried a huge load in the Saints running game, thought they might struggle without a strong running game. But if Bell can even get even a quarter of the yards he rushed today on a consistent basis with Pierre coming back, the running game will be fine.

We don't really need a strong running game, just a functional one. The offense is set up for an expansive passing game, but needs a reasonably effective running game to open up the field for the kind of big throws that Brees loves.

good start to the season for my Vikings, solid game from Favre,  big game from Peterson and another good performance in stopping the run. Hopefully more of the same next week.

Well if the Saints can run through Detriot then Peterson should easily be capable of doing it!

Good to see we have quite a few different teams supported on here

Saints 48 Eagles 22 this morning in Philly.

We absolutely owned them. Moment of the game for me - with 7 seconds to go in the game, Eagles losing by 26 and having a 2nd and something in midfield, they call a time-out to give themselves another play. Kolb throws deep, and gets picked off. What, exactly, was the point of that? Just take the loss and move on.

You'll always have the first half

Manning brothers played well this weekend, Both getting there sides across the lines (Even with Peyton spending most of the game on the bench)

Not looking forward to Giants coming to Buccs next weekend, Competing let alone winning will be tough!

Indy had 15 minutes in possesion and won the game.

Got whipped this week in fantasy had a good week, but who I was up against had an amazing week particulary Frank Gore.

Watched SC last night, they said the Lions have lost 19 games in a row now. This is the equal second longest losing streak in the history of the NFL, with only the Tampa Bay Yucs of the late 1970s doing worse (they lost 26 in a row).

Saints beat the Bills 27-7 in Buffalo. 3-0 now.

220+ yards on the ground, the D looked very good. TO - no catches in the game stopping his streak of at least 1 reception a game for the last 185 games. Thoroughly enjoyed that. And seeing Pierre Thomas unleashed in the second half...el grapadura2009-09-28 13:23:48

Saints look all the rage this season, Along with Jets who match up next week!

Favre has still got it &  Steelers are lookin shaky

Cant say a lot about the Buccs, Expected outcome against the Giants but 24-0 and only 86 yards is a bit embarrassing..

86 yeards is really embarrassing. Atleast the Buc's have scored more points than the Rams, 'Skins and Browns.

Can't believe Pittsburgh lost to Cincinnati, that's two on the trot.

Beat Kansas, Vick got a few plays i,n Kolb got 300 yards again.  KC are sh*t, but no McNabb and no Westbrook it was okay.

How's my driving? - Whine here

big win for the vikings today. Favre with the winning touchdown right at the end. 3-0 with Green Bay up next which is always a tough game.

Saints beat the previously undefeated NY Jets 24-10 at the Superdome. 4-0 now.

This game we won with the D - 3 INTs (1 returned for a TD), 4 sacks (one a forcing a fumble in the end zone that we recovered for a TD). Brees was steady without being spectacular, ran well again for over 150 yards.

I'm officially excited now. Stopping this team takes some doing.

So we lost again. 48-24 to the Chicago 2016 Bears. Can't say i'm surprised. We've used up our quota of wins this season already

I dont think the Lions are done, They should taste victory again this season (At least once anyway)

El grapadura, How badly did the Saints treat Sanchez! Talk about a major wake up rookie, Its not all plain sailing.

Colts look good and surpisingly so do the Broncos, We however do not. Lost 16-13 @ Washington and only converted 2-13 3rd downs. Josh Johnsons (5th round pick in 08 over Freeman our 1st round 17th pick from this season!?) first start, Coaches must have see something in him. Average day out and our highlight was Aqib Talib picking 3 INT off Campbell

Off to Philadelphia next week so its looking pretty dismal for the Buccs..

Yeah, Sanchez had a bit of a 'mare when you look at the big picture, but I saw enough in him today to believe he'll be a good QB for the Jets in the future. Was just simply overwhelmed today by our excellent pass rush and experienced secondary.

Looks like a long season for the Bucs - guess everyone expected a few issues in what was always going to be a transitional season, but things are looking particularly dire for you guys right now. 'Skins have been poor this season, and were probably a good chance for you to get a win, Eagles could be pretty tough next week for you.

To be honest, the NFC East will be between your lot and the Big Blue.

Skins are rubbish, and Dallas can run, and that's about it. Don't take the loss to my lot as indicative of where the Eagles season is going. We are very, very good this year. And not just saying that as a fan. el grapadura2009-10-05 15:47:48

8-0 for the first time in franchise history. Yeah baby.

Good comeback from the Saints, and Colts continue to win albeit unconvincingly.

Got to love Brees firing up his team pre match... THIS IS NEW ORLEANS!!! Could watch that clip over and over again.

Bucs now have something in the W column.

Colts v Pats next week. Gonna be huge.

Interestingly the Pats get to play both the Colts and Saints this season.

Hey News, enjoy the game yesterday

Who said the 'Boys weren't a shot for the NFC East title?

I have to say I like to see when teams go for the throw back uniforms.

All except one.

The Bucs should never ever wear that Orange & White ever. How to win and look terrible.
