TD Giants. Pats will have 57 seconds and one timeout to get a TD. Helluva finish.

Giving up the TD was the only chance they had, time to see if Brady is worth all that money.

Agreed. Almost came off there. If he'd caught that he'd have got a decent gain.

Brady sacked, 4th and long with no time outs left. Not looking good for the Pats.

4th down and 16, last timeout taken. Epic.

So close to a Pats TD, if that ball stayed in the air a second longer the diving catch could have been made

They have been playing sudden death  games since the last week of the season, so I guess maybe they do deserve it.

That Manningham catch was the killer for the Pats. A good game to end a below-par season

Broncos sign Peyton Manning on a 5 year contract, and going to trade Tebow. Wonder what Bronco's fans feel about that.

The contract is pretty ridiculous...

NFL replica jersey is one huge way to show that you hold up your team. It is like holding a bang microphone announces to the entire town that you are a real supporter of your fake team without robbing your pockets because NFL jersey is cheaper than the NFL genuine jersey. Falcons Tickets

Eagles vs Giants in a divisional game from 13:20 today

Better sort out that train-wreck from last week vs Arizona.

How's my driving? - Whine here

0-4.

Sigh. Worst defence in the league and two missed FGs in the last two games that ended up costing us wins.

Just a casual observation, 1-on-1 tackling is appalling even when there's no blocks on the tackler.

Pretty hard to make a generalisation like that as it all depends on individual match-ups. Pretty hard for a CB to tackle a RB or a big TE in a 1 on 1 situation, and it's pretty hard for a LB to tackle a quick WR or an athletic TE in a 1 on 1 situation.

Cowboys getting arse raped by the Skins at the moment. Always enjoyable to see them struggle, and their loss would be good for my Saints too.

Feel sorry for the Lions this morning, what an awful ruling to let that TD stand.

Dumb rule too - what's the harm in assessing the unsportsmanlike penalty on the coach anyway, and reviewing the score as per normal?

Permalink Permalink

Dumb rule, even dumber play by Schwartz - every coach should know that the play is automatically reviewed. And then 21 straight pass plays? Kicking a field goal on 3rd and 11? Terrible terrible coaching.

However, I'm not complaining as it saved me my bet, thanks very much Jim!

I was confused in Overtime yesterday as the Ravens knelt three times at the end of Overtime before bringing out the FG team (Wasn't first possession so no need to run time off clock), just weird.

As for the Flag on scoring play, I have seen refs pick the flag up hand it back to the coach and say its a scoring play reviewed automatically...so had no idea the rule was that there is a penalty and the play is not reviewed, seems stupid to me.

Hmm, it is really weird, I can understand doing it once to centralise the position the kick is taken from, but there's no point in doing it three times, as usually you want to have at least one spare down in case of a bad snap/mishandle from the holder.

Pretty brave for picking the Vikes, Bucs and Eagles this week.

But you get brownie points for picking the Saints :-)

I feel like the Eagles have given up on the season, sad, but it just feels like some of them aren't even trying. Quite amusing that the defense is worse after Reid sacked their defensive co-ordinator though. (Probably be beaten by 20pts)

As for Vikes, they are my team, but I just can't see them beating the Pack at Lambeau, at home maybe, but not away. (Wait with a 9pt lead just maybe - Yeah got my backing on that)

Saints vs Falcons is going to be a good one, I have given the Falcons my pick, just think it will be really close, but Matt Ryan is always better at home. Going to be a good one, need some fantasy points from Jacquizz Rodgers this week, don't really, in the playoffs of my league, guaranteed 2nd seed just want to make it 10 wins on the year. (Not sure on a 4pt lead here...Atlanta will probably take it by 5 :P)

Sorry News :( Just seems that way to me, I really don't know what is wrong with the team, they have good players across the park (O-Line has troubles, but other than that). Must be some sort of attitude issue there, Reid is likely to join Norv on the unemployment line come the end of the season.

I agree, it's just I don't think Dallas should be favoured by that against anyone, they really aren't very good either. I hope Philly have some pride left. Should be a cracker this afternoon, 40 points + guaranteed when the Saints are involved.

And el grap, not a fan of the Bucs? I know the Vikes are a bit rubbish but the Bucs could be a playoff team if they keep this up.

N-Bomb, I think the Buccs could get there as well, they have been improving lately (Especially from beating the Vikings onwards).

Going to be a great one this afternoon

Saints have been dreadful, punting on 4th and 2, Brees having his worst game of the season, Graham's play negating the TD, not getting a play off in time before the half, Moore's drop, yet I'm still not totally out of it, very strange.

Wow. Not so much shooting ourselves in the foot as blowing both feet off completely with a 155mm howitzer.

Any realistic play-off chances gone now.

They're a good and improving young team, but their pass D is not great, Peyton's going to shred them at Mile High.
Plus they still have Saints and Falcons away. If they make the playoffs they will have earned them.
