Fever Lounge, who's in?

I'll try to stop by at lunchtime. Won't stay too long though, since Saints are on MNF the following week so I'll need an extended luch break for that one.

I just read the Browns beat the Bengals 51-45. 12 TD's scored between both sides.

Also, Lions level with Vikings 3 mins to go. 17-17. Lions on the drive.

Kitna has just made 3 throws for 36 yards and they're now in FG range. 2 minute warning.

Yeah, neither team ever thought of defending apparently.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Hanson missed the FG from 48 yards. Awesome drive from Kitna but looks like its going into OT.
Almost no rushing yards from Lions (30 in total), but 350 passings. Vikings have just made a huge play downfield and 1st and 10 near FG range.

Farken Jason Hanson!! How lucky Longwell hit the post from 50 yards so were going into overtime.

Three for me, and two for them.

Browns got rid their previous QB Charlie Frye midweek and gave the not to their reliever. He must've been a hell of a reliever.

Vikings missed FG - into OT.

Awesome result. Woohoo! What a start to the season. I'm a bit worried about the rushing yards though.

Now what was it you said last week about the Lions? Oh yeah:

Hammer Head, let's get one thing straight. The Lions are most definately NOT the best team in the NFC North. Like i said this may well be our only win of the season so live it up!!

Yep, we still have to beat the Chitown Bears before we can really assert our dominance on the NFC North. Still....i'd love to be able to eat that humble pie later on this season.

CARN YOU LIONS!!!!

Dallas beat the fish, 2-0 now. This week the defense decided to show up as well, Takeaways +5 with 4 ints.

First 2-0 start since 1999 and most points scored in first 2 games since 1971.

The score board operators only challenge at the moment is staying awake.

6-3 Eagles late in the 2nd quarter.

Under 2 minutes to play, Eagles ball, 1st down on the Skins 13, 4th and 6 pass goes incomplete, game over.

Skins 20-12.

Skins 2-0 vs Giants next week
Eagles 0-2 vs Lions (who are 2-0, who would have thought they would have a better record than the Eagles after 2 weeks).

Sorry HN, another long (or more to the point short) season ahead.

It's all part of a master-plan...which I can't really see, but Saints work in mysterious ways...

That QB for the Skins was awesome. Can't believe he has only played 8 NFL games.

Poor McNabb. He almost singehandedly won the game for the Eagles at the end of the game with a great drive and then single-handedly lost the game for them with his 2nd to last throw. That had TD written all over it.

Jason Campbell??  if thats who it was then he is a very good QB. I'm leaning towards "unfancied" teams this year - even tho the Skins have LaDell Betts and Portis in the backfield I can see them being more pass-oriented with Randle El at WR.

But no one is going to catch the Patriots unfortunately - I hate Belichick.

Back to reality, eh? See the Packers won again, also, beating the Chargers. 3-0 now, Favre equalled Marino's TD record.

I feel dumb picking Saints/Chargers Super bowl, on current form you can't go past Pats and Cowboys. Whats up with LT,  Larry Johnson, Frank Gore three of the best running backs all struggling, especially LaDainian.

what is up with the saints! oh my god! i hate to say it but i think they are done before the season is even started properly!

LT is an enigma at the moment, I can't figure it out as the amount of changes in that O-Line is minimal. Mind you, a lot more teams are bringing up a SS or FS into the box and using an 8 man rush on running downs against the Volts.........crazy times.

All i know is that my Steelers are 3-0 and the Cards are still lookin ok, 1-2 i think.

Vince Young and the Titans were impressive against the Saints today - but the Saints were poor, the buzz from last year is well and truly gone

Well, first game i've watched this season today, being school holidays and all i am free to do so without being classed as truant.
Saints were poor, Brees is gobsh*te. In saying that the Tennessee defence stood up and played superb. I mean 5 turnovers, 4 of them interceptions and 3 of them to the same player!! Saints honeymoon from last season is well and truly over. Back to the bottom of the NFC South for them.

Three for me, and two for them.

Listen to this man, he clearly knows what he's talking about.

And Da Bears discovered that it was a fluke to get to the show without a QB last season.

October 14 looks like being a day to look forward to when the Pats play Dallas. Here's a prediction, it will be a game between 2 teams with a 5-0 record.
